What are you going to do with your tax refund??? I am going to pay Sallie Mae some money (not that it will make a dent in what I owe) and some bills. Maybe do some shopping but I hope to have some left to put into the savings account!

I hope to invest the refund. My husband may have other ideas though. I hope to invest the May Refund as well. Make the money work for me. Wish me luck.

I bought some clothes for my daughter since she is outgrowing everything. My son got a PS2 and 2 games, some socks, and some stuff for Cub Scouts. Some went for gas going to visit family twice in the past few weeks. I still have most of it though. I am trying not to spend it, but it is burning a hole in my pocket.

Our refund came tuesday. So far I've paid our back electric bill, bought a new washer and dryer and a new shelf for in my laundry room and I paid some back doctor copays. Next I plan to get a new matress and boxsprings for our bed. I need some new clothes too. Not sure what else we are going to do. We'd like to get new windows in the front of our house and the kids have been wanting a trampoline. :)

I paid off some bills. I bought my husband a metal detector, I put some money my savings account and I put some on the credit cards.
Can't wait for the IRS rebate that will be coming in the middle of summer to help out some more.

Ours is in the bank. And hopefully it will still be there this time next year. We almost made it to this point with last years still in the bank, but building our house took longer than we expected (when doesn't it?!?) and we had to dip into the savings to cover the high construction loan amount and living expenses for our temporary housing situation. The two payments combined were a little much after the first couple months, you know?
