I think we should try to find out, before posting a now discussion, if the same topic has not been discussed already.
I know that all of us have an interest in posting every good idea we have, and see what others think about it, but a lot of interesting discussions remain with less answers than expected.
On the other hand, there is nothing bad in posting to an older discussion...
What do you think?

I feel the same way I try to look and make sure I am not posting on something that has already been posted. I guess that is why I haven't posted to much lately because I don't want to step on toes or posts lol.

If you do that, starting a new discussion would be really difficult. Do the math, mylot population more than 100,000. If each will post 1 discussion per day, in 1 month... Soon 2 months, 3 months and so on...
Do you think its possible that you can get a unique the idea out of the numbers of discussions that is already there?
I wonder how long will it take for one user to start a new discussions.

That is not a big problem for me. Most of the discussions I respond to might be similar, but not the same. Plus, my responses tend to have different reasons. I do not often think in the same scope as the majority of people, so even if I read through other people's comments, which I do most of the time, they tend not to cover the whole topic of what I am about to say.

I also agree that people should take time to search more before posting a new discussion- why not add to someone else's post instead of starting a post that is the same?

You are right somewhat even i have been
seeing the same kind of topics are discussed,
which is not good,we should come up with
something really unique to fetch the interest
of other to carry on the interaction.
Thank you very much for the nice topic.

i know what ur mean ,i think that most of people will be delet come the end of the month ,i am tired of seeing the same topics all in one page ,they sould take some time to check and search if anyone do not post their subject topic .and it is simply thing to do if we can seach more and more .we would pass in a crowd of this site .

I also feel the same way,You can go through my record and find that i have always responded to both new and old discussions.I think many good topics have gone unnoticed and topics of lower importance and quality have always been promoted more.I think we should also concentrate on older discussions and good topics .And it is very difficult to see that a discussion has been started before or not since there are thousands and thousands of discussions here.

You're right on that, I'm already tired of seeing the same topics all in one page. People should take some time to check and search if someone has already posted their subject topic, or maybe consider starting better and relevant posts, and not just simply two or three-liner posts that don't even mean a thing at all. That way, they'll get to earn some additional payment and benefits the potential readers or responders. Besides, that's what is written on the guidelines. I'm very much sure that most of them will be deleted too come the end of the month, since the administrators would filter out which deserves to stay from those which lacks sense in their discussions..

I know what you mean, I see repeat discussions on the some topics and I wonder if that person even took the time to look through the old discussions. For example I have the art website Deviantart as one of my interests and there are about 4 to 5 discussion with the same title.
