Are you afraid that your new discussion has no response?

Thanks for respoding back to everyone who posts on here, also, youless. ;o) I posted back, and you replied. But (like the opposite of your discussion title), you have pages and pages of replies, which made it too hard for me to find my posting to respond back to you. I couldn't find it! So, I will start again. You can tell you are popular on here! :o)

Heheh... sometimes i do afraid. But if no response, i have no choice. Just let it be... ahahah Anyway, if mylot-ers gave response even only one reply, its really ok, at least its still attractive to be answered. If no response, no problem also. :)

I too faced this problem for few of my discussions. Then a mylot friend of mine put a discussion that he is ready to respond to no response discussions. When I sent the numbers, he responded and I resolved them and removed from unresolved list. You too can send those no response discussions of yours, and I will respond. Go to my page, send message with your discussion url that appears at the top.

Well Youless, it looks like this discussion has nothing to fear from your topic :D (at 72 responses as of typing this) Thanks to other discussions I've started that had no responses, yes there are times I fear there maybe no responses to the discussion. I'll admit a few discussions I've had... there are some obvious reasons for little or no responses. However, any discussion I start may have no responses depending on the topic. Even a news item on a young daughter saving her father got zero responses. If that got no response, anything I start can have the same result.

I seem to have that happen much of the time, at least barely any replies. :o( But it makes me happy when people DO reply. :o)

It doesn't happen too often anymore to me, but when I first started in mylot it happened a few times. I want to go back and see which ones have no responses but it is hard to find them because I would have to go back way too many pages, and that just takes up too much of my time. I worry about it sometimes, when I am posting a new dicussion, so I try to make it a quality discussion because I want people to respond to me. I like to chat back and forth about a subject, it just makes things in mylot more interesting that way. Anyways, keep the good posting coming, like this one, and there won't be a problem for you, of no responses to your discussions.

I have very old discussions too with no responses...it only worries me because I see it there...and I don't know how to get them to go away...lol This was way back when I first joined myLot. I don't post too many discussions and all my recent ones have got responses.

I am sometimes. but it does not matter so much. i have still got few discussion that have got no responses. But few responses are ok tahn no response at all. you feel humiliated here.

Its same with me, I felt sad and glad to know after several days you know people will bump on it and drop responses!

Oh, i am very afraid of that... one time i started a discussion... and waited for hours... but nobody responded... even when i logged off... good thing the following day... someone did... and i thanked that person for being the first to respond... Before i used to have discussions with zero responses... but i made a discussion about it... and some friends were kind enough to search through my discussions and finally the gave a response... so... i think i will return that favor to you... but i think i will do that tomorrow or on monday since i need to log off now...

Hello dear youless. I do not worry about this too much as I have got so many active and good friends like youless, but I had the same experience as you had when I became a member here at the very beginning and I was so disappointed for that. Now it is not a big problem to me and I am very happy that my devoted friends always respond to my discussions. By the way, I do not post as many discussions as I can unless I think that it could be of some interest to mylotters. Most of the time, I love to post new discussions that are related to me. Youless, do not worry about your discussions un-responded. If you have any, please feel free to send me the link and I will do accordingly out of friendship. Happy mylotting.

Im not afraid to have a discussions that doesnt get any response at all.. its the peoples or mylotters choice if they feel answering it

Te Youless I have this problem like some of my discussions has only one response and one of my discussions does not have even one response and that discussion is posted by month a long back. I have more than 200 friends on mylot but nobody wants to response on this discussions and thus this remains unresolved till today.

i have a discussion that no one want to response and i don't know why..is it too complex for the mylotter...i don't know ...maybe they won't want to share with me...:-(

I don't really worry about it. I still have a handful of discussions that no one has responded to and while it's a bit disappointing it's no big deal. I just wish I'd get just ONE so I could resolve them already...lol! When it happens I try to figure out why no one responded and then I try to make sure not to make the same "mistake" again. Maybe the title wasn't catchy, maybe it was simply bad timing or maybe it really didn't interest anyone else. Annie

Honestly, I feel like I made a bad topic if I get no response. I have two topics that got no response at all. It has been there for two or three days, I guess. Well, that is just how life is at times, you win some, you lose some. Still, the lesson and the value is what counts.

i have only had one discussion which i had no responses too.it was a post about australian idol,a t.v show,so really only australians would probably reply to it.i also was rather new at the time.i think over time when we add new friends etc it becomes easier for others to reply to our posts.cheers sue

Not really well the discussion is always there so I just let it go and let someone find it out and see if they want to respond to that certain discussion.

I am not afraid. Its just that maybe there are not enough mylotters that are interested in my discussion, as least I've open my mind up...

I realised that that happened to a few of the discussions I posted and became a bit concerned that maybe I was getting the hang of posting interesting discussions. I am relatively new here and know it will take time but still I tend to want to see more answers filing in to my discussions. Who knows maybe todays staller will be tomorrows flyer. (lol)
