yes we own quit a few with 2 boys and a husband and they all hunter we have for that and 1 for protection.

Yes, I have a 243 that I use to hunt deer with. Nice little rifle and I really like it.

I don't own one. I don't hunt and my daughter is statistically more likely to get shot by one than a would-be intruder.
If I do have someone entering my house illegally, I've found a 9 iron works just as good.

Its better to have it and never need it then need it and not have it. my husband ownd 4 legally, and is a hunter.
