Yes, I think it is. I don't know if it's a fact or not, but it's very soothing and relaxing for me to watch fish.

some times i think it is. i love fish and have almost always had a fish tank. they are so peaceful.
we just moved from ok to pa and we are just getting ours started. i have 4 fish right now and plain to get more on tuesday. one of these days i will have at least a 55 gallon tank but right now its just a 10 gallon.

Hi there! Thank you very much for sharing that. When I read this, I asked my husband if we can have fish as pets when our house is finished. He's asking if maybe birds can have the same effect. We have birds as pets now. And he's worried about the electric bill if ever we'll have fishes, lol.

It is very relaxing. Many doctors and dentist have aquariums in their waiting rooms and sometimes a patient does not have to have any pain relieviers when having a minor operation done after watching a fish tank for a while. Myself I have two aquariums in my work room where I do native American crafts. When things do not seem to go right and I make a mistake n my crafts I wil watch the fish fro a while and when I start doing my crafts again I do not make nearly as many mistakes as I did without watching the aquariums.

i don't know whether watching fish is ggod for meditation.but i know that watching the movements of the fish increases the vision power in the eye
