Do you sleepwalk or think you sleepwalk? For some reason I fear sleepwalkers/sleepwalking. I think it's because when I was a kid I heard about someone that had been sleepwalking and killed one of their family members or something. I think I may have been sleepwalking the other night because our screen door was locked the next morning...we didn't lock it before we went to bed. Has anything like this ever happened to you? Does sleepwalkers scare you? If so please explain.

When I was a kid I used to sleepwalk. My room was in the upstairs part and during the day when I was awake I had a habit of tripping and falling down the stairs. However, at night in my sleep i seemed to have zero trouble navigating my way down and then heading to the kitchen where I would pull stuff out of the refrigerator and stack it on the cabinets.

No, sleepwalkers don't scare me. It is freaky to experience though. One of my daughters used to sleepwalk. She may still every once in awhile. I don't know, I'll have to ask her husband. The freaky thing is that she would come downstairs to my bedroom and carry on a conversation with me. The next morning I'd bring up the conversation and she'd have no idea what I was talking about. I then caught on and would ask her questions such as doees she know what day it is, what time is it? She'd roll her eyes and tell me that she wasn't sleep walking and that she was awake. Well, the next morning - no recollection of the incident.

My sister used to sleepwalk..One time she sleep walked when we were still kids ..she went inside our cabinet and peed in it..lol..she even often times talks when she's sleep walking..One time she fell from our double-deck bed because she was going to go sleep walk. she woke up evidently when she fell. It doesn't scare me though.I think it's fun and cool seeing my sister walk and talk while sleeping..My eldest daughter got it from her. She sleep walks and talk while sleeping.

I haven't done any sleepwalking, but my youngest daughter has.
The scariest one that happened for me was when she fell asleep in the living room, but she woke up in her bed, the top part of a bunk bed..
The scariest that happened for her older sister was when her sister had a friend over and they were all going to sleep in the living room.. My youngest had been a sleep for a while and my daughters friend had just fallen asleep, so my oldest daughter went to lie down to go to sleep, when my youngest sat straight up, turned her head to look at her sister, said something and then laid back down.. My oldest was so freaked out, because it was dark, but not too dark, that she saw her sisters eyes and said something like, "are you awake?"
Fortunately she no longer does this, but it use to give me quite a scare, wondering what she would do next..

Maybe you need to have a sleep study done,if you are indeed sleepwalking this will find out.My dad and my sister have sleepwalked but as for as I know I haven't,my sister went as far as making a pan of bisquits in her sleep and I remember finding my dad outside in his underwear lol.And then again maybe you did lock the screen door and just don't remember.Good luck and have a nice day!

Hi. I am not really scared by people who sleepwalk. I don't know anyone who does it either though, so maybe that is why. However my wife does talk in her sleep. Most of the time the things she says make absolutely no sense at all. It is funny because sometimes I think she is talking to me and we have a conversation then she doesn't remember it at all.

No, they don't scare me, but I do have a son-in-law, that talks and walks sometimes while he is sleeping, and it really looks like he is awake, but he is not!
This is very strange to me, because I had never seen anyone do this before!

I don't sleep walk even though I am capable of getting my kids up, giving them a bath, getting them ready for school and out the door and onto the bus, then change a diaper and fed my avatar breakfast then lay her back down for her morning nap all while still being asleep because the only evidence that I have done all these things is everyone is gone or in a different room in the house when I wake up. lol
I think I just go into cruise control and my body takes over.
I would find it hard to believe that someone was "sleepwalking" and killed someone but hey stranger excuses have gotten people off of worse crimes.
None of my kids sleep walk so I'm not all that concerned about it.

I sleepwalk and apparently from the stories that my aunt has told me, I have done it since I was a child. She said that she used to follow me out of the apartment and lead me back into the apartment, she was afraid to wake me because she had heard you aren't supposed to wake a sleepwalker. I still do to this day, I have woken up in different rooms, I have woken up in my car (that was scary). I once was woken up at the ATM next door to my house by the Brink's guys in my PJ's and all, that was embarrassing... I am not sure why I sleep walk, I have never really though about it that much until now, guess I am going to have to do some research.
