Not many shops from my country have the option to pay by credit card, so it's better to have cash with you at any time.

I prefer to use my debit card, then my credit card, then cash, in that order. I don't want to carry a lot of use since I have been a victim of hold up once.

I love my debit card as it's sometimes hard for my to deal with cah as I have cerebral palsy a nurological impairment and my fingers tend to shake. If you use money you get change (which is number 1 evil thing in my book, because I tend to spill it everywhere).

i would suggest that you should start making it a habit to pay in cash because i have experienced paying via credit card and i have learned my lesson. save yourself the burden of paying for such steep interest and the headache of dealing with them in the future. aside from paying cash , you will be saving a lot by doing so. you won't have to pay extra surcharges and taxes. if you want security , use a debit card. ask yourself this, do you want security and practicality or you just want to use it because you do not have the money yet to pay for it. it is better to be practical than be sorry later.

I try and pay in cash, if the amount is small and i have the money to do so, most of the time I end up having to use my credit or bank card.

Ok here are a couple tips: 1. always use a credit/debit card. 2. even if you are using a debit card run it through as credit... if it asks for your pin hit the CANCEL button and then it will give you the option for credit. The reason: if you need to return something or if you have a dispute CREDIT will allow you to dispute through Visa/MC whereas with debit you have to go through your bank... and probably will not get anywhere. Thanks Zelo

I usually used cash coz I don't have an credit card hehehe, sometimes I used my ATM card. It's very convenient to used ATM card cos I don't have to worry in any debt in the future. I'm not suitable having an credit card, I don't want to be tempted in buying many things hehehe.

Dear Julyteen, I prefer paying cash for all my shopping. If I need to give card payment I use debit card only. No credit cards.. I cannot control myself if I keep using credit cards. I don't want to fall in to their trap and once you do that you can never come out and they won't allow you to either.. So better that I pay with cash or at the maximum debit cards so my account will get debited then and there and I will come to know through my mobile that my balance has come down by that much.

i prefer cash because by using credit card you will have to pay some interest on your money that you used so it will cost you more and also you will be in control while buying anything.
