i'd rather use credit than debit. i have used debit before and was disappointed when they have deducted an amount from my account and it reflected time out in their system... i have to go check my balance at an atm and then ask for my money back since i did "paid" for the item twice.

First of all .. if i have a go on this.. i won't go for shopping at all.. Its a girl's business and i hate doing it..
But anyway if i would have to pay somewhere i would prefer paying by cash..However if i have a choice only between the two i would rather choose Debit Card.. simple reason bcoz i don't hold a credit card...lol..
But anyway i think Debit Card is more easier to carry.. And there would be no bound to pay the charges at a later stage.. The payment is made at the same time..There is no such problem of getting your credit cards bill cleared at a later point of time and no problem of interest being charged..

Debit card of course, why go shopping if you have to put it on plastic? I would rather pay for it when I bought it. Then to make payments on it. Debit card all the way!!!

I would rather use my credit then my debit. mostly for the fact that if my information was ever to be stolen god forbid, A lot more damage could be done with my debit then ever could be done with my credit. I mostly use my debit card for small orders less than 50$ if I do not have the cash on me. I try and use my credit all other times and never use my debit online or for any other insucure transactions.

I dont have a credit card and I will never have one if I can help it. I widraw money 1 time a week from my back using atm and if I dont have money for something than I wait till I have enough to get it. if its not urgent that is.

If I only had these two to choose from then I would choose debit card simply because the goods are paid for straight away, wheras with credit cards the goods are not paid for straightaway.

I use a credit card. I had a debit card once, but gave it up and opted for the credit card. When I had a debit card, it felt like I had put aside a certain amount of money just intended to be used therefore making shopping simply irresistible.
With a credit card, since purchases would be put on credit, I'd tend to think twice before having it swiped and if I could actually pay back when the bill arrives.
