when you go out of your house and go somewhere, what do you always carry with you in your pockets or in your bag that you can't do without (aside from your wallets where you carry money)? as for me, i need my cellphones with me because that is my lifeblood that is where all my contacts are in business and social. i believe that my cellphones can help me in every situation i am in, specially if i forgot my wallet.

Chapstick and my cellphone. I feel wrecked without either one. I have chapstick within my reach at all times. And, even though I am not as attached to my cellphone because people call me a lot or I call them a lot, it is like a security blanket for me. And, seriously, I may get one call every other day or less on my cell. And, I may make one call every other day or less. But, it also has a calendar, texting and some other great features like a notebook kind of thing and I can leave myself voice notes so I won't forget something if I am driving and can't write a note to myself.
So, those are my two must have items. I feel lost in a world of chapped lips and disorganization without them! LOL!

do you know what a fil-o-fax was? it is our organizer during the eighties and our cellphone works the same way. it seems that you are gonna be lost without your cellphone. so, how about the chapstick? aside from using it on your lip, do you have any other use for it while you are on the road?

very typical of a woman. a fil o fax is like a notebook with lots of stuff you need like a cellphone only youcan use it to call ,lol.ask your dad about it.

I don't remember the fil'o'fax. I remember my dad's huge car phone". That thing was a beast and he hardly ever used it. LOL!
The funny thing about my cell is that I could live without it but, I miss it more when I don't have it. It just makes life easier.
As for my chapstick, I have used it as sort of a moisturizer in a pinch if I didn't put enough moisturizer on my face and I have a flaky patch. But, I usually just use it as chapstick. I think I would be even more lost without it then I would be without my cell.

Well, this is going to sound really strange to some people and down right weird to others but since a really bad experience a few years ago I don't leave the house without my bible - it fits into my purse and I'm really the only one that knows it's there but I feel better having it with me. Other than that, hand lotion and chap stick!

you know what come to think of it all the things that qe carry when we go out of the house are some sort of a security blanket, a "just in case" kinda stuff. like an amulet. and i do not find it wierd because i forgot to include in one of my bare essentials is i always put a rosary on my left pocket and it makes feel more secure.it became a habit since we were taught and trained in high school to always carry a rosary in our pockets everyday in school. i did not realized the importance since i became an adult in the real world. thanks for the reminder. mwah!

Very true - some would say I've gone over board with the bible but you know what I feel better about it. I also can't stand it when my hands or lips get dry - and I'm not holding hands with or kissing anyone, it's just for me :)
LOL - only think I was taught to make sure I always had when I left the house was clean underwear, Mom always said like many other mothers that was important incase you were in and accident and had to go to the hospital you didn't want to have dirty ones on - like yea Mom if I'm in an accident them pretty clean undies aren't going to be clean anymore :(

yep I do the chapstick too! and I think a very good thing for everyone to carry (though I am not in a good habit of it) is a clean white hanky or better yet two of them. you never know when you might need one for some first aid necessity, as a white flag to signal for help, or even as a hankie lol.

you know i like to do that because it just makes me feel like i always have money on me. even on those days when funds are low, I know i have money on me. also, when i go to buy something, i rather give them the exact amount.

do you mind if i ask why you have coins at the bottom of your purse? i know loose change means a lot and it can buy you a fare ride home. just wondering if there are any other reason aside from that.

Whenever I go out I always have my wallet, bus pass in case my legs get tired after walking so far I need to get a bus, but I never do, it's good to have just in case. I also have my keys and a pen. I never take my cellphone with me, unless I am driving, because I have no need for it, and I find it intrusive.

Nowadays, cellphones have become part of our body and it's a disaster if we left it at home. But sometimes I think that I don't really need to carry my cellphone with me all the time especially if I'm not expecting any important calls or messages.
Anyway, this lesson I have learned recently is very important too, that we always carry with us our ID's and accident or health insurance. It's almost impossible now to make any transaction or even enter a building especially in Makati if you don't have a valid ID with you.

hi tigerdragon! ^__^
i always carry my cellphone too wherever i go. i can't miss any important calls especially from my boss and my mother. ^__^;; my officemates and friends would send me anytime an important message too. sometimes i miss messages from friends asking me about something and i felt really bad that it took me ages before i read it and answered it. so i always carry my cellphone whenever i go out.
i always carry with me a comb, powder and a handkerchief. ^__^

I always bring my purse, cell phone, chap stick and mirror with me. I don't really use the cell phone too much but I always bring that with me just in case my parents want to get hold of me or something. The others are my basic needs of survival in the streets *laughs*.

Hi,
Whenever I go out, I take my son with me. I make sure my mobile phone is with me. Also, check if I have enough credit in my mobile. Just to make sure. Next thing, a small bottle of water and a small tiffin box with some snacks for my son. You will find these 3 things in my bag whenever I go out. You are right, cellphones are very useful in every sense.
