My Mobile Phone Bill for February is Rs.8300. I am screwed! whats your highest?

I just recieved an envelope today from airtel (its a cellular phone company in india), i opened it.. knowing at the back of my mind that this could very well be a bomb. and i wasnt surprised to see that my outstanding usage bill was Rs.8300 (approx $207) I do talk a lot on phone but last months talking has just costed me a fortune.. but i coudnt help it.. international calls arent cheap!Anyways.. whats the highest your bills have gone?? Have you been in a situation like this before?? to pay an amount thats more than half of what you earn in a month?

I also got screwed when i saw my mobile phone bill is Rs. 12000 a few months ago. But i really not do so much calls or any other activity in my mobile so that my bill came so much. So i call the Customer care executive and then all the problems sorted out and they resend me the revised bill which is around Rs. 1200 only.

LOL.. i wish i was that lucky! and they send me a revised bill of 800 instead of 8000.. but sadly this isnt going to happen! i am glad you dint have to pay such a heavy amount. thanks for your response. keep posting!

When my cell phone bills started hitting $100 a month I got a pay as you go tracphone. Since I only use it for emergencies and calling cabs I use very little minutes so paying $10.49 a month for 50 minutes is perfect for me.

I thought being charged hundred dollars for a cellphone was bad. So, that is the highest I ever gotten. I like to watch my minutes and make sure that I don't go over because I hate wasting my money like that.
