you don't have guts, you don't deserve to be rich.

some people think that they could get rich just by sitting around and not doing anything. some people think that getting rich doesn't require any risk. if you are like some people, i am telling you that you are wrong!!! you will never succeed in life without sticking your head out and taking the step to make your life better and richer. everything that you do and i do involves risk but with risk there's also a reward or a potential. don't expect to become rich just by being lazy!!!! i hate people who complain and don't do anything about their complaints. they love to complain. i say to those people: wake up and grow up!! nothing is a free luch ever!!! instead of complaining focus on making your life less miserable by taking actions and less complaining.

I agree totally. I had to put $1200 down upfront for my vacation business. I know that most people don't have that much money laying around so I am trying to help others earn with me.
I spend a ton of time marketing my biz right now. I am hoping that pretty soon I won't have to do so much of that work myself and word of mouth kicks in.
I am so excited about this business and all the opportunities that I haven't complained once yet. Knock on wood. I hope I don't ever have any complaints.

I agree that no one will make money by being lazy. Making money requires work. Even work at home jobs require effort. I will say on behalf of those who don't take risks though that it all depends on what type of risks you are talking about. If you are talking about risks such as fronting money to websites that ask for it in order to make money from home, than yes, I can agree with those people for not putting their butts on the line. A lot of people have been burned in online scams and therefore it's so difficult in today's internet society to know what to trust and what not to trust. Truthfully I'm quite careful myself. I'm not trying to be mean at all to those that don't have a lot of posts as I don't have many myself but those with more posts on here I tend to look into their posts on sites that they've made money on. Others who tend to try and use their posts as referral links that don't have many posts I'm a bit more cautious about. It's why I have never posted a referral link for anyone. Because I would not ever want to seem like a hypocrite. There is no way to sit back and not do anything and generate an income. This is one of those too good to be true scams. Working and making an effort is required. That is the only way to make money in today's world. Fortunately there are places like this, which, granted, you don't get rich off of this site, but every little bit helps. And while you might not make a lot of money here at mylot, the friends that you make at least help make the experience fun and enjoyable. Sometimes people struggle with their finances. Everyone hits a rough patch in life. It is typical and understandable to the complaints tend to happen and I certainly don't have a problem with that as I have been through the same many times. Encouragement, support and motivation are the keys to helping others through these difficult times. I found that out by receiving motivational advice from others when I was suffering from the same issues. Just my opinion.

i'm sorry my dicussion was too broad for people to interpret. i meant again in investing in the stock market. there's a risk you have to take in investing that's why you don't invest your retirement money. you should invest something that you could afford to lose and invest when you are young because you have time to recover your loses if you have some.

Ah. OKay. I see what you're saying now. No need to apologize for a misunderstanding. You didn't do anything wrong. Misunderstandings happen all the time. Have a good day!

Hi,
I hope not only guts, another qualities like confidence and use of intelligent brain may also needed. Any how everyone in this world is special I would rather opt mental peace more than money. Being a business man is according to interest and the hard work that one possess for that may be this only my own personal judgments.

i would not be able to write here for someone to answer or reply to it if it were not for my intelligence. ofcourse intelligence is an important aspect of getting to where you want to go but without guts, you will only get to a certain point and that's the end of it until you die alone very lonely.

OK ... how do you make something out of nothing?
Say your credit is in the toilet...
Your savings is very low...
Your expenses doubled and your pay has remained the same...
How do you get out of the poor Rut?
I agree, risk taking is important. What is there to risk when you have nothing to put at risk?

let me ask you a question. did you start having you problems from nothing? i bet you did not. everyone has to start from something and unfortunately you startet with the wrong foot. my advice is to fix your credit and try to be more frugal untill you fixed all your liabilities like debt and loans. once you fixed these then more opportunities will come in your life and probably you could start investing for the first time and take risk that would eventually make you rich.

You're absolutely right. Problems come from mistakes, mostly youthful mistakes that we will not repeat again. Sometimes it takes those dumb youthful risks and landing flat on our faces to learn our strengths and be creative.
When things eventually pick up, I'm going to take a leap of faith and build up the $ for my cookie business.

I think you are right. Unfortunately, in the US, we have a system called the welfare system in which lazy people always get to become well satisfied with money. There are some people who do not even belong on welfare, but are on it regardless because the US government have refused to reform it so that it can be ensured that only people who actually need the money are receiving it. I mean, they are some people out there who are on welfare, but when you go to their room, they have a flat screen television .

There are many reasons why complain and it isn't just because they are lazy. I think complaining is a way of venting just like crying everyone needs a release now and again. Not everyone is built to take risks, everyones make up is different. That is what makes this world such an interesting place and people unique. I would love to take risks. I unfortunatly do not have the capital to go trying a new risk willy nilly. But I am searching every day for something that I can work hard at with out the money risk. If you know of something let me know I would spend my life working away at it.

well that is true! i feel the same way for people who dont do anything but complain... and then will even blame others for their fate! ha ha isnt it ironic?! they dont do anything about what their life has become but dont work for it. nothing comes easy in this life... we have to work hard for everything we want to enjoy in this life.

Of course, I agree with you 100%. Where in the world will you pick some reward without doing nothing. Whew! Well, 100% intention goes with action plus results. I don't like people who are lazy too. They are bad energies to call as friends.
Who will ever succeed without some action? Let's move forward and take the risk. Stay positive fellows!

In most cases the people who are very rich did work extremely hard to get there...sometimes some people just luck out though - their parents had money to pay for college or they were given something to start out with or they got into real estate or oil at the right time.
Some people have what I dub as "welfare mentality"...they don't understand that what they put into life they get it back out. I could have easily been a welfare single mom...Instead I worked 3 jobs for one year until I could start getting ahead...working those jobs has given me the ability now to work freelance while I stay home with the kids the majority of the time. I am also lucky to be with my husband, he is a great man who cares about supporting his family. My son's father pretty much only cared when the next party was...Your own success can depend on the people you associate with as well.

maxsee212, Very good discussion: And I could not agree with you more. I also feel that people set and complain about things that they can change. But I also agree that there is alot of good people that go out and work everyday just to beable to make ends meat, every week. Has nothing to do with them being lazy. Not saying that all are not lazy, I know people who do not work or if they do they want to live way above there means.
I have seen where you mentioned the Stock Market a few times. Do you buy?
