No I am pretty sure that I have never received one and I looked in the account settings and it still only has mail preferences for when someone responds to your discussion and when someone comments on your response so I am not sure why you received it. over the last few days I have received alot of requests and not got mail.
Try requesting me just now.

Well I have the request and I got a notification that you replied but I never got a thing in my mail box saying I had a new friends request.
Are you sure you read your mail right lol?

I have been receiving new friend's request at a limited intervals. On seing my response to their discussions, I have received more than 15 request in a period of 6 months. Also I have approved them in my friends list

I have received the notification through the headings under "friends" displayed at the top in this mylot site.

I do get them every once in a while ever since I started here. I believe I probably get about 3-4 a month, approximately..

Oh I'm sorry..(you should be able to go right to discussions without replying when responding out of your e-mail)
You are saying that you got this request into your main e-mail, not here on mylot..No, I haven't gotten something like that, but will be on the lookout..:)

No, I have never received one. I get new friend requests on a daily basis, but I have yet to receive notification of that in my email. It must be something new. Although I had several friends requests just today and didn't see anything in my email to indicate that.

Yes I have, lots and lots of times and no it's nothing new. Some people are touchy about who they add and not add, I'm not because I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt till they prove me right or wrong.

i have not close mydoors .and anyone is welcome to request me as a friend ,they get the benefits because i take time to respond unless the toppic is something i prefer not to comment on for whatever reason but i make it a point my friend does not get a zero comment from me ,out of all the discussions the starts in a day.i stand behind the word friend when i got to mylot.
if i get a request ,i woule add the person as a friend on matter what.it does not matter the number of friends i have .i kept my friends to a certain mumber when i got mylot.
