why facebook?

I visited that site once and saw it too simple. I didn't sign up for an account yet, maybe later. Anyways I still have other accounts from other sites that's same as facebook.

This is my take on Facebook. Facebook originally started as a college-only networking site, unlike MySpace. Recently (well, not so recently anymore), Facebook was opened to the general public. So, in this... Facebook used to be very esoteric, but it has lost that. So, I think you should choose which group to use. I think it is very well known and liked because it seems to have better privacy settings than MySpace. I'm not sure exactly though! I personally choose to use Facebook because that is my first profile page and to me, it just seems like a step above MySpace. I just think MySpace, I hate to say it, a lower place on the social scale because it seems most related to High School, while Facebook is more College related.

I am not sure if this applies for everyone who has a facebook account but the reason I like it a lot is because this is the only networking site that has connected me with friends from back in the day, from school, work from the past, etc. Myspace and other sites haven't really done that for me.
