The Studio Actors Guild is talking of striking as of 2 hours ago.
When a movie, we the viewers have a choice, we know when it is playing, we know the price, we go or not.
When it is TV, there is not much for us to do except cancel our subscriptions all together and that isn't really a choice if you want to have news and children's shows.
Why are we, the consumer's, having to pay high premium prices when we are getting re-runs during the entire year??!!
I know that in my area, I cannot pick one channel here and one channel there that I want, I have to take the "package" or the "tier".
I feel like this has been too much this year. Writer's strike just ended, and while I don't know enough to comment on it, I did pay for that time of re-runs.
Now the Actors are going to strike?!
I know that I am sick of paying for crap, re-runs, and bad acting on lousy new fill in shows.
They give rebates for so many things these days, how about a rebate for this??!!
I know, I know, that is probably a good script idea for some fantasy based show.
Over Charged and Fed Up.

If it's not one thing its another. I wouldn't hold your breathe for a rebate. Though I agree with you it would be nice. With the prices of theatre tickets going higher and higher that isn't even an option for most. Guess we will just have to hope they don't strike. Or hope it doesn't last long.

Pfft! Let them. They are all worthless in my view.
If they strike I don't care. I don't watch that much TV and sometimes I watch my programming doesn't come from stateside.
Let the overpaid, ugly, worthless, disgusting actors strike. And if they strike, doesn't that say a lot? "We get paid millions for producing garbage, now we aren't being paid enough millions, so we're gonna go sit in a corner". GO then.
