I have done the same thing with my daughter. She was going through some hard times and I asked her to write down what she wants out of life. I told her to write down what goeals she has for herself. she wrote me a list too and we work on that list as days go by. she has really changed since she started meeting some of her goals. My daughter just turned 16 in February. I would tell your daughter to keep working hard and to never give up on what she wants out of life. It may be a struggle but she will reach it if she is persistent. She has a loving mother to back her all the way too, and that should really help her to advance.

You are welcome and she is too. You can tell her that I said I know how hard it is for their age group. I have seen my daughter have to go through so many things because she thought she had to be like everyone else. She nows knows she is very acceptable with who she really is and everyone will love her and support her just for being herself and trying to reach her goals.

That's very good! You must be really proud of her! If she consistently keeps focus on these wishes, your daughter will go a long, long way. I would wish my own daughter would have the same thoughts too. Pls do tell her I wish her all the best! May all her wishes come true!

What Emile needs to learn is to STOP WISHING and start DEVELOPING A PLAN to reach out and grab the things that she wants in life.By focusing in on one thing at a time, such as her education and avoiding distractions she'll become far more successful and feel proud at the same time.

Thanks for your response. Yes, she does need to stop wishing and develope a plan. She will finally be going to school tonight for the first time in a long time. It has been a two month ordeal trying to finally get to where we are so that she can finally go. It's at least a start.

I told emily this is one of the best things that she has written I'm glad that she does write because it is theraputic. I told her she needed to print this out and carry it with her, that way when she feels down she can go back and look at it. At least she still has some drive left.

terri I would say that that is one terrific list.from what I see it looks like she is wellon her way to accomplishing all she has set out to do. I would say keep up your positive attitude and you will soon start to attain each of your wishes. I would also say you seem to be one very intelligent young woman so stand tall and be proud of yourself.
