I prefer the big purple ones and then the red and the green last, but hubby likes the green ones best. I prefer to store them in the freezer and eat them before they thaw, but he likes his room temperature. Usually where we shop they are both on sale at the same time, but the price reduction on the red ones seems to be more dramatic as they are higher priced to start with. We buy all three kinds when they are available, and regardless of our preferences eat all three kinds whether fresh or frozen.

I like frozen grapes also. My husband says that is terrible, as he doesn't like frozen food.I'm glad to find another person that likes them.

I usually buy green grapes rather than red. We all prefer the seedless grapes. Mostly they are so expensive. Yesterday I saw a smallish package of mixed red & green grapes. They looked so nice, but I wasn't going to pay the price they were charging.
We have a grape vine out the back, with green grapes. But the dogs pinch the grapes off the tree.

Thanks for the reply. Grapes were on sale this week, so I plan to walk tomorrow with grapes in my bag. I like to stop at the park, so bring bread for the ducks.

I personally don't love grapes, but my family does. when asked for a choice, they always pick the red grapes. I don't think there is all that much difference in the taste. Now the dark red or I guess you could almost call them black, have a completely difference taste and texture. Those usually come with seeds and no one wants to bother. Red and green seem to go on sale at the same time here, but I may have seen red on sale a few times. I think red actually look better in salads.

I agree red grapes do give a salad more color. I never buy grapes with seeds, as nobody in my house likes pits in the fruit bowl. Thanks for the reply.

I like the green or the dark purple the best, but I will eat which ever are on sale. You are right though it does seem like the red ones go on sale more often than the others.

I like both :D The only ones I don't like are the ones with seeds, they are such a pain to eat even more annoying than olives.
Never noticed if either are on sale more than the other but as I only buy when they are on sale and it does seem to be mainly green onesthat are on sale in the uk.
