I'm just curious how different mylotters feel about where they grew up. What were the best and worst things about that enviroment? would you want to live somewhere else and why?
I grew up in a rural area, my dad and his brothers owned farm together. As I got older we did move further into town, and I enjoyed being able to walk to some local cafes and stores. I loved growing up in a rural area where everyone knew the neighbors, but then moving close enough to town that there were a few local shops. Right now I'm living in a similarly small town where I'm an easy bike ride from anywhere I need to go, and I often run into people I know.
The worst thing about living away from cities is that going to events like concerts takes more planning and a good-sized mall could be an hour away, though internet shopping helps with that.
Still for me, I think living in a rural or small town area is the best. What do you think?

Ive lived in Miami my whole life. Theres so much people here its starting to get crazy! So many new houses constructed, new hospitals, its like its own expanding empire lol. I like my privacy but i live in a circular complex surrounded by neighbors left, right, infront everywhere! But these people are my freinds that i grew up with since elementary so we know each other very well. One of my friends moved up in orlando he said its boring and theres nothing to do just a bunch of tourist and Disney world. So he moved back..Dont get me wrong not all rural areas are the same, infact i went to farms and its fascinating how everone new each other and how nicer people seemed to be. In miami everone goes out of their way to be rude lol. Anyways, in dominican rep. the food was literally organic I evan saw them kill a pig & chicken. I just fed it to the chickens. I went horseback riding, swimming in a river on a mountain. i also went camping on a school bus in the middle of no where just a bunch of cows hey atleast we had a.c lol! It was a blast i didnt want to go back but my spanish wasn't evan that good anyways lol. Plus miami's great too the bunch of malls, south beach dont be surprise to evan see old men wearing thongs its hot here lol j.k Walmart mcdonalds publix is across the street. december santas enchanted forest amusement park opens and in march the fair..in downtown there the triple A's wheres theres always concerts. Alot of people chose to live here their entire life because of the great weather, the beaches, no not bit*hes beaches lol..its easy to get around, hottest clubs but its about time i move out theis town house into a house in miami with no neighbors or atleast not left, right, infront everywhere.

VERY rural. I much prefer the country to the city...there's something about being so close to nature, to living with it. My Mom owned a farm, and we had a solar and windpowered house once upon a time.
I'm not sure what I can think of about what might be bad about it -- in my opinion.
The best things are how quiet it is, how FEW people there are.
