growing up my mother always said it took more energy to eat and digest a raw carrot than the carrot would give you - so I am going to say A Carrot burns more calories by eating it (if raw)
likewise I would think
cabbage or any of the kale family (if raw)
onions
cucumbers
radishes
celery
leaf lettuce
spinach

I know someone has mentioned this but eating grapefruit and drinking pure unseeten grapefruit juice I was told that theyhave somelike like negaive calories and could really aid in a persons weightloss. I could be wring but in the months now before summer gets here I try to eat very healthy and include lots of them in my diet.~D

High protein, low carb meals can help you as well. Thats what I have been doing and its helped me so much.

these foods are called negative calorie foods. a 25 calorie piece of broccoli (100 grams) requires 80 calories to get digested. other foods with negative calories are : asparagus,apple,beet,berries,cabbage,carrots,chili,cucumber,garlic,lettuce,grapefruit,lemon,mango,onion,orange,papaya,pineapple,spinach,zucchini,celery,turnip and others . so it's basically salads that you'd have to eat
