I love 80's music, hence my name, leppard. Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Tom Petty, Roxette, Poison, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, The Proclaimers- I Would Walk 500 Miles, Journey, .. gosh, those were the days. And what I listed are just to name a few that I can rememeber listening to when I was little. Did the music have any impact on your life? Are you still "stuck in the 80's'?
What is your most favorite 80's song?
Does it take you back in time?
Can you remember where you were when you first heard that song?

I do love Phil Collins too. I have a few 80's compilation boxed sets that I pull out from time to time. Great music.

Don't think I can pick one sing but the album that represented the decade from my point of view would be Appetite fro Destruction
Stadium rock from the 80s is much better than any of the current day music - don't think I could tell you more than couple of the UK no1s from the last twelve months

Agreed with your comment about Stadium Rock. I love Appetite for Destruction. GNR rocks, they are amazing.

I will be a single-minded, whole-hearted, die-hard Depeche Mode fan til my life is over! Along with my kids and grandkids... we still go to concerts and have dvd days to re-watch the performances... its the only music I LOVE!

Favourite bands from this dynamic era would be U2, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Alphaville and A-Ha. There are so many others worth mentioning though and they certainly remind me of my illustrious childhood.
