I don't do diets for the most part they don't work. I am slightly overweight, but have also been very sick lately. My problem is trying to force myself to eat now. Things like fruit and juice and soup is about all I can manage to get into me and keep down lately. If on;u the weather could start getting a little nicer, and a little warmer, I'd love to start going out for walks again and getting some fresh air. But dieting per se is nothing I want or need to attempt right now, it takes all my concentration to get a few healthy things into me...

I was adopted and raised in an Italian family since I was 4 months old. Thanks for asking!

Wow, 20kg...that's a lot to lose. How did you do it?
I don't diet, I just eat healthy...lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, salads, rice, I snack on nuts and seeds, oatmeal and cereal and occasionally organic chips with salsa. I drink lots of water and a little tea and juices...no soda pop. I avoid white sugar, white flour, corn syrup, hydrogenated fats, and artificial ingredients...basically stay away from junk and convenience foods.

I'm not on a "diet", but my eating habits are healthy and balanced, as well as incorporating all foods that I enjoy.
I don't believe in fad/radical diets where you must cut out whole food groups or things that you enjoy simply in the name of losing some weight.
I eat good portions, with all the good groups each day, as well as regular exercise an d lots of water.
For some people who have an unhealthy lifestyle, this may be a "diet", but for me it's just the way I have been brought up and am extremely happy with.
I wouldn't punish myself, starve myself or cut out food I love, I just make sure to moderate when I can =)
