No, this isn't about race, it is about one's favorite color! I received this interesting article in my email this morning. It describes one's personality traits by knowing what color the person is most drawn to. I have always loved green and it describes me perfectly! The link to the article is below. What color do you prefer and did it describe you accurately? http://www.lifescript.com/channels/healthy_living/Life_Tips/color_your_personality.asp?utm_campaign=2008-03-07&utm_source=healthy-advantage&utm_medium=email&utm_content=todays-headlines_color-your-personality&FromNL=1

Is there any absolute truth there? I have read many interpretations of colors and they don't always agree. I am not entirely sure if I believe in colors but based on the article, well, I like black. Black Personality: An affinity for black indicates that you’re fiercely loyal, committed to all of your relationships and extremely disciplined about achieving goals. Lovers of black tend to be emotional people and often make decisions based on feelings rather than logic. Well, they got half of it right and half of it wrong. How convincing is that? I also like red. Red Personality: A passion for red announces loud and clear that a woman is a mover and shaker who does nothing halfway. Direct and practical with a clear idea of what you want, you let others know exactly where they stand and you establish firm boundaries. Saying “no” is not a problem for you. As a result, people respect you and listen when you talk. You can, however, become impatient with others’ inefficiencies. What's wrong with that lass? Why did they only mention women? Is this guide not for guys as well? Or are they assuming guys are color-blind? I find silver fine too: Silver Personality: Silver as a favorite color indicates a woman is searching to better understand her deepest feelings. You long to be immersed in your own thoughts, away from the busy world. Introspective by nature, you ask yourself such weighty questions as “What’s my emotional fulfillment from this action?” and “Will going down this road be a passionate journey?” Blue, yes. Blue Personality: Optimistic and dreamy, blue buffs overlook little slights and stumbling blocks, give others the benefit of the doubt, and see the sunny side of life. You create a positive, upbeat presence that keeps those around you moving forward. In love, your focus on the positive can make you naive. It can take you a long time – perhaps too long – to see the shortcomings of your beloved. Ok I conclude that the writer is crap and probably just want to earn that 20 bucks for writing that untrue rubbish.

Unfortunately, the link doesn't contain my favourite colour. My favourite is purple, and my second, black. I like to wear the two together, but although purple isn't in this link, I can tell you what it represents. Purple was initially associated with royalty because of its rarity and expense; thus becoming a symbol of royalty, wealth and power. It also indicates intuition, emotional and deep feelings and high aspirations, meaning I am interested in the best of everything, including my friends. Purple is one of the colours of transformation (black is the other). Purple helps you attain wisdom, heightens your knowledge of the Spiritual Realm, and signifies artistic and musical impulses, mystery, sensitivity to beauty and high ideals, stimulating creativity, inspiration, sensitivity, spirituality and compassion. This makes a lot of sense as I am at one with the Spiritual Realm, my name, Patricia, is of royal origin and denotes loyalty. I have a great love for music, am creative in the sense of crafting, and I am an emotional person, with deep feelings for others and my friends are certainly the best. Now, black. This colour indicates fierce loyalty, commitment in all relationships and extreme discipline en route to achieving one's goals. Black again signifies feelings of emotion. It also signifies that I am strong-willed, opinionated and disciplined. Black is comforting, protective, and mysterious, silence, the infinite, and the feminine life force-passive, unchartered, and mysterious. These traits are quite true to my personality, especially the spiritual side, the wisdom, (as I am always reading and learning), the emotions, sensitivity and strong will. My birth colour, though, is brown... the colour of Mother Earth. Brown brings a sense of stability and security, but also relates to bottling up of emotions. I don't think I bottle up emotion too often, because I like to talk and get things resolved, but on occasion, one's emotions are private, and it's difficult to talk with others about. On these occasions, I'm guilty as charged! Brightest Blessings.

my color used to be orange... i check it before in a magazine and the personality fits me perfectly... but i can't find orange in this article... i love red as well and when i read about this personality, it fits me well too... so i guess i am a red or orange person... :-) Red Personality: A passion for red announces loud and clear that a woman is a mover and shaker who does nothing halfway. Direct and practical with a clear idea of what you want, you let others know exactly where they stand and you establish firm boundaries. Saying “no” is not a problem for you. As a result, people respect you and listen when you talk. You can, however, become impatient with others’ inefficiencies.

My color is green. It did pretty much sum me up. I do seem to have this uncanny ability to put myself in other's shoes. I have spent most of my life helping others....lol

interesting the color that came up on the page is my color and I can not figure out how to get to any of the other colors, heh. so anyway, my color is green and this is what it said about me: Green Personality: A preference for green shows that a person is a terrific listener who’s never too busy to help a friend in need. But your ability to put yourself in other people’s shoes is your true gift. And although you appear innocent at times, your natural curiosity and your understanding of what makes people tick makes you more streetwise than you seem. I think that it is eriely accurate.

I have a preference for two colors really. Black and Purple. Purple I did not see on the list (I may have overlooked it.) I did identify with the description for black though. Interesting post.

Hi there... This is quiet funny, because years ago, I think I would've easily fit into being a yellow, now that Im a grown woman with children and husband, I would diffinetly fit into the black and red colours, becuase both of them are my personality now days, and I think going through different experiences good and bad, can help towards molding ones personality... Cheers, great link... Hava a good one...
