I received that one too, very touching and so very real. I haven't a partner but my son when he wakes each morning gives me a huggle (cuddle/hug) and syas mummy 'I love you' makes my day every day and he does it so automatically, he also sense if I am feeling low and will give me what he calls a squeezy hug to make mummy better. Ellie :D

At this moment he is out buying pie. He turns on the bed warmer each night so the bed will be warm when I get there. He turns on my paraffin bath for my hands to get softened. He drives me anywhere he can when we can be together.I have coffee ready when I get up in the morning. Sometimes I get coffee in bed. I came into his life late in the day, he came into my life after great losses, so we value each other.

I wanted to take dinner. Not a dinner at a posh restaurant but one at the hawker centre. He told me he was broke and can only afford a simple and light meal. I offered to pay, he insist he has to pay. He ordered only my share and said he will settle his at home. He even refused to share what is on the table saying it was barely enough for a decent meal. It was just a simple act, so simple yet so touching. Perhaps I was naive, but I choose to believe in the sincerity.

my wife every day will phone me just saying " Don't be too tired. learn to rest." you know, we teachers are often very tired after class. when I return home, she is always preparing a cup of tea for me. we seldom say " love", but love shows everywhere. -------------- winterose, long time no see. I also got that email and its so totally sweet! My boyfriend will just be watching tv with me and just start rubbing my feet, I think its totally sweet of him to do! I never complain of my feet hurting he just does it because he wants too and I think its a great way for him to show he cares.
