installation timing chain corvette 1986

we want to know, the correct possition of the crankshaft gear thooth and the camshaft timing mark. we owened a corvette 1986, V8 5.7ltr/350 (C4), and we are rebuilding the motor with a new camshaft 268/290 and new timing chain magnum double roller both COMP Cams@products. But we will be sure that we have everything in the right possition, thanks in advance, we are from the island of Aruba

rotate crank intill roter passes number one spark plug contact in distributer cap and #1 piston is in the up position. place the cam so that the cam lobes areone to the left and one to the right of center. install chain. rotate crank a little and the next valve to open should be the exaust. rotate cap to ajust timing. i think
