Anyone going to make homemade Hotcross buns for Easter ?

Many years ago I always did, I just love baking, but just donn't have the time anymore.They were really great, but very labour intense, with making every thing from screatc, and letting the dough rise etc.

I love hot cross buns. I don't think I've ever made them myself but my mom has on past Easters. This year she'll be out of the country on vacation so I might have to give them a whirl myself...if I can find the time :)

MMMMM! Homemade hotcross buns sound delicious and excellent. Unfortunately, I do not have time or iclination and I will be buying them. But what a wonderful idea for those of you that do like to bake from scratch!

Although Easter has passed I'd still like to learn to make these. I love homemade rolls and biscuits. Thanks for reminding me...now I can go look for a good recipe and learn to make them. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I've never made them, but I've bought them. I've thought they would be so much better fresh. I will look through the above and see if you wrote a recipe or a link to one. If you haven't done so already, can you give us and idea of the ingredients you've used?
