I love choco chip cookies. my first choco chip cookie was crunchy and crumbly, but then i tried a big choco chip they used to sell at Wendy's (i wonder why they don't make them anymore?) and just instantly fell in love with it's soft and chewy texture and yummy vanilla flavor. now, i hardly eat choco chip cookies that aren't soft n chewy.
which kind of chocolate chip cookie do you like?

My chocolate chip cookies have to be soft and chewy. My favorites are homemade cookies still warm from the oven. I try to do all of my cookies soft. The only hard ones I like are Oreos, but I make them soft too by dipping them in my coffee. The best chocolate chip cookies (to me) are soft and chewy and warm, sometimes made into a sundae with vanilla ice cream.

I don't use any one particular recipe. I do all my cookies soft. I just deduct a minute or two off of the baking time. When you store them, put them in an airtight container with a slice of bread. The bread absorbs the moisture so the bread will get hard, but the cookies will stay soft. Hope that helps!

really? are chips ahoy soft n chewy? if i remembered correctly the last time i tried they were the crumbly type. but i could be mistaken for another brand. if they are soft n chewy i think i'll try them again.
thank you for the info. i wonder if anyone else can tell me any other cookie brands that are soft n chewy?
