and I am not impressed with it
A couple of People here can confirm that Gissi has a new Game called
Bark when Mum is on the Phone, do not stop till Mum tells you to stop and then when she talks again star Barking again
Yep that is his new Game
He has been playing this Game for a few Days now and it is getting annoying I have to say, but does he care? No he does not
I was on the Phone 3 times today, to my Daughter, to my Son and to my dear Friend Mo and he did it every time
Of course when I tell him to shus, he just ignores me, I mean what is new, when does he not ignore me??????
I don't know I love this little Fellow to bits, he really is more like a spoilt Child then a spoilt Dog
Please own up who has spoilt him I will not get mad honest,

Gissi must have taught this to my Sherlock. The last week he has taken up barking when I am on the phone. It got so bad once that I had to say goodbye to my grandma because he was going so crazy barking! My grandma thought it was funny. She thinks he is jealous when something else has my attention. I don't know, but I know I look funny chasing a small dog around while holding a phone to my ear. : )

Er paws up sorry Gabs I confess, I sort of told him about my phobia about phones and that when the phone goes it makes me jump and I get irritated when the phone starts ringing so I guess he caught that from me and it's his defence mechanism jumping into place to protect his beloved friend because he doesn't like the phone. Bad Wolfie, bad! Sorry Gissi if you stop barking I will let you share my mischievous secrets more xxx

Shhhhhh.....don't tell anyone....but I've been spoiling him absolutely rotten! LOL! I think your little man is just trying to be part of the conversation and he's putting his two cents worth in every chance he gets. That little guy definitely has a mind of his own, for sure. LOL! Love and hugs to you sweetie.

Yes, I'm feeling a lot better. I'm supposed to go back to the clinic Wednesday so that my surgeon can check things out and make sure that everything is healing well. I'm just waiting on a call from them to tell me what time to be there. I think I should just set up a tent on their front lawn. LOL! Hugs!

i actually love your discussion... it is so funny... sorry gabs, i know how annoying it can be for you... but i just can't help to laugh... :-) anyway, i think gissi just wants your attention and he is jealous when you are talking with another person... may be you can teach him by moving him to another room (for example, lock him in the bathroom) whenever he barks while you are on the phone... may be he will get the hint... good luck...

Hmmmm...maybe he needs some more TLC..Maybe he is asking for more attention but if he's doing that and it annoys you why not try to give him punishment for doing it. Why not put him outside when he does that..maybe when you do that often to him he will get it that he shouldn't do that and he'll eventually stop doing it. Try it. :)

Oh you and your Gissi tales…you both can really bring on a smile to any face. Spoilt child, yes that’s what he should be, just like my own son. He just does not like it when I am talking to anybody anywhere. He has to be there, in the center, listen to everything and then comment on it. A very bad habit I know, and I am sure Gissy wants to know what you are talking about and wants to convey his comments too lol!
PS: When’s the book coming up? Seriously, I want a complete volume of Gissitales (if not for my son, then maybe for my grandchildren???)

Ummmm, Lizzie and Gizmo might have taught Gissi this one. They get all excited and run to the door to greet whoever drives into the driveway. Phone, door.............I can see how Gissi might have gotten confused. As for spoiling the little guy, we might all be guilty of that one. But............we love him too.

I just told gissi that he sounds like hubby and kids. They tend to always need something when I am on the phone. THey come and ask me where this is, or that. They suddenly need my help for something. It's often then that they need to have a serious conversation.... should I continue? LOL
Now tazz and our cats are very thoughtful and hardly interrupt me when I"m on the phone.

That sure would drive me batty...How about putting him outside or in another room until your conversation is over..maybe after awhile he will get the hint....LOL....It could be that he thinks you are talking to him, because after all, he justs hears you talking...if you have visitors and are talking, does he do it then? He is a goof nut...
