I never taste steaks that are rare and medium yet as I always order my steak to be well done. My parents told me that steaks that are not cooked well still has bacteria on them... I don't know how true this is though, but one day I am definitely gonna try my steaks not to be well done as I myself love eating steaks.

I eat my steak medium rare, still pink in the middle, my hubby eats his cooked so done it looks like apiece of shoe leather, it is so dry and I find no taste. Yes there may be bacteria still in it, but I guess you don't think of that at the time. Seems to be bacteria in everything any more. But I like my steaks juicy, not cooked to shoe leather style, lol.

I like my steak medium well. I like it to be just a little pink on the inside, but no blood oozing out. I like my steak with hash browns and kraft mac n cheese.

Hello ersmommy1. I like steak well done. If it is medium or rare, I will not feel comfortable with my stomach later on.

I like it rare- to medium rare.
Mashed potatoes, a lobster tail, corn on the cob and a salad would be nice.
DROOL!!

I used to like mine well done too... but then a few years ago I ordered some filet mignon from omaha steaks and the suggestion was to have them rather rare - it was a first for me, but I decided I rather liked them this way and ever since I have been more on the medium rare side for preference.
I like mine with baked potato, sour cream and chives...
and fresh steamed broccoli
a yeast roll or baking powder biscuit.
ice cream and pie for dessert please!

Cooked on a grill and rare. That's the best. I've mastered the art of getting the steak perfectly rare on the grill, but getting an ideal sear that caramelizes the fat so it's just sinfully luscious. Favorite sides with that are mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and a nice salad. Lip smacking good. I nice pice of texas toast wouldn't be turned down with that either, he he.
I don't mind med-rare, or medium steaks. Well-done is overcooked and tough to me.

I like my steak beyond well done, in fact i often tell the person taking my order to have the cook burn it for me. For sides i always take a nice baked potato with butter and sour cream, steamed broccoli and a piece of garlic bread.

I don't get steak much anymore. One, expensive. Two, I work to avoid Red meat if I can for health reasons. But, when I get it, I like it sort of medium rare. The reasons are twofold. 1) I hope I can trust the cooks to kill the bacteria without having to burn the steak. 2) I can reheat a medium-rare stake later and eat leftovers. A well done stake reheated becomes "leather."

I like my steak med-well or med, just little bit of pink in the center. I like my steak with biscuits or potatoes and some A1 sauce! Yum!!! My wife loves it well done, not pink AT all. I do not mind my steak well done but I prefer it med-well.

i like my steak medium well done. the less blood you can see the taster it is. You should not eat red meat and let alone bloody meat.
