I like to watch cooking shows..more for entertainment than to get actual meal ideas. I rarely try out any of the recipes but it's fun to watch. I like Paula Deen, Ace of Cakes, and some of the food competition shows especially the cake decorating ones...they're so creative and artistic and sometimes wacky.

I forgot about Good Eats...I like that one too. Alton is funny, entertaining, and is a good teacher too.
Yes, I did watch the Seuss cake competition (or at least the last 15 minutes anyway). They were amazing. I really loved the top 2...I don't know how they moved The Cat in the Hat...I thought it'd break for sure... and the Horton cake was really cute too.
How cool to live near Charm City. I could see myself being a cake stalker...hanging out across the street and hoping to catch a glimpse of them loading up the van :)

I do like to watch the cooking shows on television as I like to see the new recipes that I can come up with. I have tried some of them and I have liked most of what I try.

My wife and I enjoy watching cooking shows. They always provide us with new ideas for preparing meals. We think they are fun to watch.

Absoultuely useless at cooking myself but love to watch cooking programmes.
Favourite series is the Channel 4 series of River Cottage, although cooking perhaps is only half of the programme.
Think I just like to see what can be made rather than making it myself
