I you could choose only one anime to be licensed and released in your country which one would you pick and why?
I'll go first. As for me I would like to have Nana released because it's a good, mature anime (about adults and for at least older teens) and it is shoujo. In my country, Poland, there are practically no anime for girls, though there are many ecchi series for guys:/ I also think that Nana could be watched no only by anime fans but by others, two. It is slice of life anime, very unique one with a great music.

I want Geneon to get off their ###ses and finish the english version of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Stupid cancellation -_-.
Well, its not too bad. I can still watch that and MANY more anime through my own methods.
Oh and Pom there are non-h series out, but they are harder to find. Pretear is one. Ouran High School Host Club and Fruits Basket are others.
CLAMP also releases a few that are non-h.
I know a lot, but its hard to recall. If I think of anything else, I'll bring it to your attention.

i just recently finished watching Lovely Complex and i just so love it that i want to watch it again! even just a moment ago, i was listening to all its background music, i already miss it. even if i know that our local tv networks might do a bad job in dubbing it (like what they are doing to naruto shippuuden right now), i would still watch it. i'll just imagine the voice of the real voice actors. ^__^;;
i just loved the series because its really hilarious and at the same time very sweet. and i like the facial overly exaggerated expressions of koizumi and otani. just really funny. it has a live action version but its just one movie and its not really satisfying so i'm also hoping that they would make a follow up on that. ^__^
shouganeeze, shouganeeze, shouganeeze... umibouzu! LOL

I want Nana to come to my country too! The manga's been released, and I've heard that the live action movies may be released this year here, but no word for the anime. :/

You're from us, right? It's already licensed there by Viz media, it will just take time to release the DVD (that's why most of the fansub groups dropped the series ;_;). only regret that DVDs have different regions in US and Europe:/ I buy manga in english on Amazon, but when it comes to anime my DVD player can't handle region 1:/
For the movie I see it is listed on Amazon for pre-order:

Mmm. I have mixed feelings about animes being licensed here. (simply because after doing so the raws slowly disappear, and I love to use raws for AMVs. .people don't want to deal with legal issues and such lol) Although if I had to pick one, Lovely Complex (the anime). I believe its manga counterpart, LoveCom is already licensed but not the anime as it only came out last year. xD

Oh, I liked NANA as well. I saw the live action movie on youtube as well. xD An anime I would love to see licensed and released would be Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. I'm totally in love with this show. The art is great and though a bit random, is really hilarious. Even just as a manga, I'd be satisfied.
