Hi Raydene,
I seriously never count the number of responses I did. I just choose whatever caught my eyes and respond. Although, I have to admit that I'm not as active as I used to be. Even posting and commenting a discussion seems too tedious to me.
I actually plan to go on a little self-exile again from mylot. Maybe by next week. I'm only waiting for my earnings to reach the cut-off. I'm just tired. =)

It depends on how busy I am and what type of discussion it was in the first place. If the discussion was about a particular situation that has resolved or is already over, I'm probably going to stop responding after a few days.
If, on the other hand, it's a more general discussion, then I'll respond until I'm just absolutely sick of it. I don't typically respond to one-line responses though, unless they're witty, and if everyone is just saying the exact same thing, I'm probably not going to comment on more than 50 or so responses.

I do try to respond to all comments. Sometimes it is difficult, but I think we are here to discuss so I try to do so.

I end up spending most of my time just rating my discussions and no time to make money, so I respond to only the responses to my discussions that I have something to say, so I never know how many that will be.

I must say that I don't think I reply to as many of my responses as I should. However if I read through them all and see a response that someone has clearly put a lot of thought into, or if they share a touching story I am always sure to respond to them.
I feel it's a waste of time to pretty much say the same thing to every person who responds to your discussion so I don't bother. It's not that I don't care or I don't respect their point of view, I just don't have the time or patience to sit there replying when I could be posting new and interesting discussions.

It depends on how many times I have answered the discussion and if I feel that I can say anything worthwhile on it. I usually don't find that I can't say anything as I can always thank the person for their response. I think that it is important to keep our topics going.

I only wish I had that problem! I usually just get a handful of responses, so can find something different to say to each. Occassionally, I say nothing at all, just rate them. And then, every so often, someone stumbles across an old discussion of mine and comments anew.

I'll give a pragmatic answer here and say that I respond to several a day. I do not have time to write a long, drawn out discussion to a simple topic.
However, it's nice to provide a good response when someone really gives a thought-provoking discussion.

I usually respond when and where relevant. But I love to look through all posings to my discussions or discussions that I took part in. I don't really obliged to respond to my responses in other topics, but I make an effort to respond to those commenting on mine though.

i only respond, because i dont think you get paid for a discussion you start until you get responses and then you respond back.. at least that is what i see happen to my account. but, i don't really keep them going unless its something that really interests me. i have not "met" any friends here, and just keep a low profile. it is the internet you know? so, good luck here!

I almost always have a new response to each person who responds to me. Even if it is similar to another response I made earlier. I just change it up a little bit.

I'm always running out of time here, too limited to respond all that reply to the discussion I started I reply to some of them I wish I could but I have nothing to say to some so I go to the routine I have to do.
