bar soap or body wash

using bath soap are sounds very popular here...but we can't talk it in general...many individuals has their own favorite soap either bath or other product...for me i almost used safeguard batch soap manufactured by procter and gamble...

i used to ONLY use body wash, but i got sick of having to use puffs with them, i dont know why i just did, then i found mia bella bars (soy soaps) and they are my new favorite thing. i love them so much, i joined mia bella as a rep... i'd defiantely give soy soap a chance..

Well, First of all I don't consider bathing as a ritual. But I certainly do like it. It also makes me feel relaxed. It is just part of my daily routine. Now, I prefer bar soap because I am always in a hurry and bar soap is much quicker to apply on your body as compared with body wash. My convenience is of my time not how it feels on my body. Please I am not offending you of anything. Its just how I feel. So please forgive me if in anyway I have offended you or made you feel offended by me. Thanks for reading my response. Goodbye

hi ruth i love taking a btah also for 30 to 45 mins i use both bar soap and body wash i use 1st the bar soap after that the body wash:-)

Yes, I know. Filipinas like us are known for good hygiene. And we take a bath everyday. Body wash is also what I like to use because it does not leave residues on my skin. Of course, if you rinse well, you won't have any problem even you use a bar soap but body wash is easier to use and it doesn't dry the skin.

Hi ruthinian.. When i was in the philippines, just like you i spent long time in the shower. I had so many bath rituals that will take me an hour or so. I used bar soap first and my finishing touch would be the body wash. I love johnson and johnson bodymilk bath soap. It smells like a baby and i felt like my skin was so smooth afterwards. My boyfriend actually liked my smell after taking shower. Thanks to the bodymilk bath soap. Right now, since im in a country with a cold weather i dont use bar soap anymore. I uses dove body wash for extra moisturizer that my skin badly needs.

Body soap any time. Body wash is OK for once-in-a-while treat but its both expensive and takes longer to wash off. I mean my skin feels very soapy even I have washed it with buckets of water. I will stick to the old body soap.

I like to use body wash. Besides the feel on my skin, I think it might be more sanitary. A bar of soap is exposed to the germs and small debris that seem to sneak into our showers even when we clean them. I realize soap is soap, and it sounds like it should clean itself, but still...

its for sure body wash for me,bar soap is just so impersonal with everyone useing the same bar, and now a days with all the germs and disease I would be afraid to go to someones house and use a bar of soap to wash up with. I have dry skin so I try to choose one that is good for that I also use a lofa sponge to rub off the dry skin.

I have body wash i dont use bar soap.though we always do keep a few bars just incase, out of all the ones i have tried tone and caress is my fav...next i will try dove:)

I can only use body washes as soap dries my skin up something terrible, there are some gorgeous soaps about too, but as soon as its on my skin I just itch like mad. Plus it is convenient and cleaner, soap goes all mushy if its not looked after properly and can be really hard to clean off!

I prefer a bar soap to take bath.i take bath once a day before going out.I use face washes to wash my face.

I prefer body wash. Feels better to me. I will still use bar soap but I prefer body wash. I like ones that later up real good too. I like bath bubbles as well. Those bath salts are ok but I don't see a lot of difference when you use them. I agree, A bath relaxes you. I love taking baths. They are also good for making you feel better in my opinion. Sometimes I feel like a new woman after I get out of the bath. lol. I like the water real hot as well, not so hot that it is going to burn me but hot. Maybe I should go take a bath now. lol.

I agree, I love playing in/with water, it makes me energetic, especially I love taking cold showers in the summer time in the late afternoon/early evening. Body wash is my regular, but when I am in a hurry, I'd just use a bar because it's easiar & quicker. I usually use the same brand, but I like to try diffrent brands with diffrent smells - I love flowery smells rather then food smells except Coconut-I simply odor that smell!. My favorites are Rose, Jasmine & Lilac.

I use body wash to have a shower. As to the bar soap, usually we just use it to wash hands. Nowadays few people will use soap to take a bath.

I prefer body wash, especially the one that have a good smell.. I like to try a different body wash according to their smell, Once I have tried the product that smells like orange which makes me feel so fresh in the morning, But now I use body wash that have a scrub in it, so I don't use the puff, but applied directly to my skin..

Body wash. I usually use the coconut one from sauve. I just bought another brand and it doesn't seem to lather the way the sauve does. It's been a long time since I used bar soap. My daughter actually makes it and gave me a bunch for Christmas but I still prefer the body wash.

I prefer also like you the body wash and i neither have my favorite one, i just try many different, since i need to have a different smell. It just get old after quite time and i need something new. Agree with you about those bath tub, i love them, it is so relaxing and i lvoe them speicaly when is freezing outside.

Body wash is my favorite. But sometimes I use bar soap also, especially bcause it is much cheaper than body wash :-)

i prefer to use bar soap because it's not so expensive and when i have soap in my hand,i feel soft,i feel energetic.and also it smells good(although body wash do,but it's different feeling)so i will use soap for bathing or washing my hands.
