How Do You Choose Discussion Tags in MyLot? / myLot

I love to start discussions here in MyLot. Sometimes I just like to vent. But sometimes I really need answers. I know I can find it here. In the couple of months I've been here I must have earned a master's degree. Any topic is covered here and there is always an expert in any given field. But sometimes I really need answers and I have a feeling I miscategorize the topic. There are certain times when I don't get my topic resolved due to misplacement on the lot. There are categories that are triplicated and some that are not included. How do you categorize topics that are not pre-written by the Lot? Can a member initiate a new subject matter that's not on that mylot list?

it depends on what was the discussion about. when i write the answer or the discussion itself, i try to think what is the main idea of the discussion. i tag it accordingly.

you want to find answers of your questions you can use the search engine so it is easy for you to look topics you want...i usually searching topics by tags...it helps me a lot doing this...you can try this in your own...maybe it finds help.
