Do Commenting will BOOST my EARNINGS????

Okay, this is pretty plain and simple. This is a discussion site that people and members contribute, we all earn from our efforts here. Payed with money or not, for me I just comment on almost every response I get to show them my appreciation in giving their effort to share their opinions. We only get paid once on our own threads, it is up to you if you want to or chose not to add comments on the responses you receive.

In the "how do I increase my earnings" screen it clearly shows the ways to increase your earnings. 1.Use myLot, post discussions,respond to discussions. 2.Post quality content. For example generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic. 3.Refer friends. For each person you sent to myLot you will receive 25% of their earnings.

no I don't believe it increases and mylot advising against responding to your own posts anyhow. I respond only to the ones I feel I have something to say about just like you, but I do rate everyone.

As far as I know, commenting adds to earnings. Isn't it that responding and commenting to discussions, photos, news and blog articles are ways to earn here at mylot? I think I've read at that the FAQs area.

Yes i believe that we do not earn thru commenting on our own discussion. But we earn if we get many responses on a discussion. So the important of commenting in a response is to make our own discussion stay active and get many responses.

commenting a response will not boost your earnings, as what you have observe your number of posted comments will not also increase...by commenting the response of your discussions or other discussions it really means that you valued their comments and ideas...you are building a good relationship to the commentors and be thankful for the effort they made on the discussions...i did this even i am not earning on it...because i feel that it is my obligation to say good words to them..

actually as such commenting does not pay you here. what it does taht it incraeses the visibility of the discussion. may be after adding comment you get more response. i guess mylot somehow pays more for more responses.

To earn good money you need to be a good comenter as well as you should post your own discussions.......... Just commenting wont help they need to be of good quality.

As far as I know doing that will not increase your earnings but it will increase your friends and improve friendship because believe it or not, not everyone here posts because of the money. There are those who are more concern about making friends rather than anything else and by responding to what people have commented in our discussions is a showing of courtesy more than anything else. commenting on others will boost your earnings. Sometimes more than putting up a discussion yourself,because if no one responds to your discussions you won't get paid.But commenting on others with more than 3lines will pay you.

I read here that some people say comments don't earn you anything because they don't increase your number of posts, while others say that these will. Crash's response was: "This depends on a LOT of factors. Our proprietary algorithm places a derived value on every question, comment, and response. Some contributions are worth more than others!" myLot does not pay per post. They pay based on the perceived value of every question, comment and response posted. In short, they pay for members' contributions here of any kind as long as they add value to this forum.

Honestly, if you're trying to earn money, mylot is most definitely NOT the way to do it, you know? It's really not a very profitable venture unless you have a TON of referrals. It could end up nicely, if you have a lot of active referrals, but unless you do, I don't expect you'll make very much unless you spend all of your time on the internet. Not that the internet is a bad thing... It's just there's more productive things to be doing. Like right now, I should be cleaning and doing laundry before my grandma gets back from her vacation. I'm crashing at her house and I kind of messed it up a little, but I'll do that as soon as I'm done here. Anyways, the point I'm trying to make, is that if you wanted to actually make money typing, then you should be a secretary. You at least get minimum wage.

Commenting back on replies you get to YOUR OWN discussions does not get you any extra cash, but people commenting on them does, also when people comment on your discussion, they add tage to make sure they get paid, and then that makes YOUR discussion more noticable for others, because it is easier to find. I only comment back on the replies which interest me, not just because i think that i am going to get paid more! Chris

of course,there's positive relation between earnings and comments you make.though i've no idea of the quantitive relation,while it's proved to be true. in my opinion,comments affect earnings from two parts.on one hand,it increase your earning direct as a prize for your work. on another hand,that's your comments which cause further discussion and dig your post to a more broader level at the same time. both lead to your earnings increasing.

i see where your coming from and i also only respond if i have time and if the discussion needs a response from me or the person that wrote to me has asked a question, as far as i can gather we only get paid once per discussion.

That's very great discussion you have started mnsrwt............... I also used to have the same doubt. But i think we can earn more due to commenting. Because whhen our discussion goes to lowest position and when we reply it then when any one opens our profile then they would view that topic and obviously they would reply the topic....... I have experienced that. So don't forget to comment each of ur topic at least once a day!! Have a nice day!! Keep Posting!!

Commenting in the responses is also one of the reasons why your discussions gets active. When you gave comment to the user who responded to you, he could come back and comment again. That is why it's called a discussion. It's interactive.

I am not too sure about how much commenting adds to earnings. Yet,I have a bit higher earnings when I comment a lot .

Commenting on responses will not increase your earnings.People comment to thank the person for responding to their discussion or if they have questions.

I agree some what although it will get you earnings the more you stay here talking.
