Do most of you post here, to make money?

I know this sounds offensive, but I don't mean to offend anybody.

No, the money is just an added benefit for me. I was on another site but was having issues with a troll who formed multiple accounts and then would vote all my responses off the board. Heard of several sites, checked them all out but wasn't impressed enough to join...until this one. I just wanted somewhere to share my medical knowledge and to answer any other questions where I could answer or could help. A place where you couldn't be targeted by a troll. The earnings had nothing to do with it but are a nice bonus.

Medical? Cool, I like to learn a bit of our body, too. Maybe I could learn from you, if you're interested in passing on the skills.

Yes, I am an R.N. (Registered Nurse) with experience in dermatology, ICU/CCU, OB/GYN, same day surgery and, mostly, E.R. Feel free to add me to your friends list to email any medical questions you want to know. If I can answer, I will. :)
BTW, I have since returned to the other site so am not here much anymore. There are very few medical questions here and mylot is contantly deleting questions which deletes the answers I spend so much time on. So, I don't visit here much anymore. The other site took care of my troll and I am a designated Top Contributor there. So glad to be back there where I am appreciated. :)

Yes, I joined mylot with the idea of earning the money. But I found out it's not that easy to earn it, so I post now because because I want to. The money now comes second placed. When you post you feel like you contributed something. Regards.

I used to spend a lot of time on a different site, but I now prefer it here, because of the large volume of traffic. Although you sometimes have to hunt around for good topics, there always are some interesting ones.
I have to admit, I started a few not very serious discussions, just to get a feel for how the site worked, and to see if I could get a payout in the first month, but I'm back to spending more time on responses again now.
I really love the fact that there are people from all over the world on the site. Most other sites I've been on have had only North American visitors, so this is an interesting change.

No I don't post here to make money. I could make more in one day at a part time job than a week on mylot posting all day long.

I dont know that posting here just to make money is a lucritive way to make a living LOL But it does seem that many are just here for that. Not that that is a bad thing, for the most part, I am guilty as well LOL

I like finding the obscure and interesting (and often unanswered) questions/discussions, and hopefully I have something of value to add. They sometimes even give me something to research or present ideas and thoughts I've never come up with on my own. I like those "Ah-hah!" moments.
