thats my thoughts on it, although with the pj pants they have nowadays, I have been known to run to the store with them and a t-shirt on, I was told as long as you have a bra on they are not considered pj's but comfy pants, so I run w/ that one from time to time, hehe

HaHaHaHaHa, I like how you said many years ago....me too, the last time was many years ago taking one of my kids to school, lol! I couldn't imagine doing that now. Oh to be young and carefree again, I hate getting old, lol!

I'd say about a year ago. I was sick, and I was hungry, but I didn't have anything in my apartment that sounded good. Since McDonalds is open all night, I just threw a jacket on, and took off. I did not care, even if they could tell I had my jammies on.

Last night..really late. lol I was craving a Hershey's bar so I drove the 5min. into town in my winter nightgown to the Shell Station for it. The townsfolk all dress differently and a nightgown is no exception. I even wore my fave knit slippers. Whenever my daughter misses her bus, I take her to school in either a nightgown or robe.

I'm always in my jammas... I got some in solid colors that just look like pants... I can go anywhere in them! Its a challenge sometimes for me to get dressed, so its better that I have something that is easy to get into than for me to go wothout!LOL!!

It's been many years since I drove in my pajamas. Took the kids to school a couple of times and threw a jacket or coat over them. Was glad I didn't have a car problem..lol In the summertime I sometimes sleep in a pair of shorts and t-shirt. If I need something early in the morning, will go out just like that and nobody can tell I slept in the shorts or top. I wear clothing that doesn't seem to wrinkle.

Before we had two cars, I did this quite often Terry, but it's not unusual over here in Australia, because of the weather; lots of people do it. Like you, if I needed the car for the day, I would drive my hubby to work in my PJ's!
I once got pulled over for a random breath test after I'd dropped him off (in my PJ's), but the policeman didn't even bat an eyelid when he saw what I was wearing! Like I said, it's not an unusual sight!

LOL I haven't been able to drive for a couple of years but I have driven in my pjs before - in fact I walked to my friends house with my pjs on the other year - I just rolled up the trouser legs and wore a long skirt then when I got there took the skirt off and was nice and comfy - we had a pyjama party! lol xxx

Oh does that ever bring back memories..About 14 years ago, my youngest at the time was going to preschool and towards the end of that school year, our second car broke down..So I drove my husband to work early in the morning, (6:00AM) in my PJ's and was home in time to take my daughter to school...

I've done it too but it's been so long ago that I can't remember the senerio. Oh well but I can tell you this, I've driven down my driveway to my mail box and back in my pj's.... does that count for something? I have a long driveway. lol

I haven't driven in PJs yet, but, I have worn PJs as a passenger in the back seat before.
We were going on a long trip to our home town and had to leave early. Since it was really early, I just climbed into the car and didn't bother to change thinking that we wouldn't be making any stops anyway.
Then they decide to make a stopover in fastfood chain and I had to stay in the car for I wasn't properly dressed. Bummer. :(

I don't wear pyjamas my friend, so if I went out in my car in what I wore in bed I think I would be arrested if not my bits would freeze! I just wear boxers, I haven't worn pyjamas since I was about 10 or 12. Do you wear your slippers too when driving LOL. Can you imagine if you were pulled over and you had your bunny slippers on and a negligee pmsl!

I haven't driven in my pajamas in quite awhile, but the time I did was for the very same reason as you - I had to take my husband to work early in the morning! LOL!

I drive every morning in my pajamas! LOL I have to drive the kids to school every morning at 7. Too early for me. :O) So yes, I drive in my pajamas, come home and then drink some coffee then get dressed. I don't even bother tossing on a coat as my pajamas are warm. LOL

Every morning I want the truck. I don't have my own vehicle so when I need one, say to go to the doctor, I take my hubby to work so I can have it, and then I pick him up after work. For me to take him to work, I have to get up very early, like 5am, and so I don't bother to get dressed or brush my teeth or wash my face, nothing. After I take him to work I come back home and usually just go back to bed, since it is only about 5:45 by then and too early to stay up. I often wonder what the police would think, if I got pulled over for something.

I have driven in my pajamas lots of times. But not anymore. A few years back I was pulled over for speeding on a country highway. So when the officer came to my door he automatically wanted me to get out and stand at the back of my car near the grass, where every passerby could see me. Thank goodness I was wearing pant bottom pjs.
