What was the last rumor spread about you?

wow, as far as I know there have not been any rumors said about me.... oh wait!! I was at a neighbor's down the road and after a few minutes into our visit they asked if I was abused by my husband!!! Wow! that was a shocking question to me. I do not know if the rumor was about me or my husband though it was a bit troubling either way. I have not told my husband that I was asked this. I am sure it would break his heart.

Well, I'm very happy to hear that you are doing OK. I would have worried if I heard the rumor, because I know you through this site. The last nasty rumor that someone spread about me, let me think. Actually it was another Mylot member who spread malicious gossip about me. She went to each one of my discussions and made nasty comments about how I NEVER respond to my own discussions. And, that's a total lie. There have been a few days this past month when I couldn't get online due to my bad broadband connection to update hourly, so this other person just assumed she had a right to point it out to 100,000 other members. What right did she have to make it her business. She should have read the MyLot terms of service. They expressly forbid that kind of flaming. I try to update ALL of my discussions at least once a day. But, when I have a lot of home life stress or job stress, then I update once or twice a week. She sent me private messages bugging me about how much money I make on a daily basis here on mylot. She was just assuming it was a lot of money. I told her that I make about a dollar a day. Then, she sent me a private message under another username. I could tell that it was her, because she used the exact wording. She still doesn't know that I know! This idiot who made the malicious remarks about me, (her username starts with a D) was probably drunk and got online and started posting lies. I'm sure that I wasn't her only target. But, that's OK, I've reported her. People like that should just keep their mouths shut if they don't have anything nice to say. I have no beef with anyone else on MyLot and I've tried to keep my nose clean since coming back to MyLot. I'm a good person. But, I will fight back if someone attacks me. I'm tired of being a victom. Just like any other woman should do. If I sound mad about the whole thing, then you're right. I am mad. And, I have a right to be. Why should people like that be allowed to terrorize everyone with their bullying? If I ever have a problem with another member because they don't update often or due to the nature of their posts, I don't make it my business to be a jerk. I try to understand that they may be going through a hard time offline. I don't go around posting bad stuff about them behind their back and hurting people's feelings. This person wasn't you AmbiePam. You've always been a bright and positive force here on MyLot and I hope those kinds of negative people don't scare you away. The rest of us would miss you. that i'm pregnant again. it so happen that lately i've been doing a lot of work in the office...and stress was really on to me. to cope up with the stress, i tend to eat a lot and look for food that not usual. i've experienced headaches and dizziness. after a week, my boss asked me about the veracity of the news she's been hearing lately - that i'm 2 months pregnant! crazy.

I guess that I was having affairs on my partner with MANY men. I was quite shocked when I heard about the rumors as I don't leave my house without a child in toe. I was wondering where these men were and why I wasn't getting the action I was said to be getting. I figured I would just let it go because they people who know me know what I do and the people who don't know me don't want to and that is their loss.

I don't know Ambie, but knowing my rotten neighbor, she probably is always spreading rumors about us trying to get us kicked out.. I guess the last one where this same neighbor had talked about me that I heard about was many years ago..She had complained about why I allow something to be done, but it was so stupid, she didn't even know what she was talking about, so I forgot exactly what it was..

That one about you was really horrible. Last oen I hear about me was just about month ago, when we had a meeting from high school after 5 years and the guy ask my friend if I got married America just for the citizenship. That really pissed me off, since people think I married a american guy just for such a stupid reason , but not only that, they know nothing about all the paperwork I have to go through and I would'not got citizenship for many eyars even if I am married to him. Oh Gosh I was furious two days about that, when I hear it.

Last time I went to the gas station one of he the attendants were so respectful and saluted me.I got bewildered .Then he bent down and asked me ,"Are you satisfied with the services Sir"Unable to contain me anymore I asked him what is going on here."I know Sir My friend told my that you own a gas station near by and make surprise visits to the other gas stations to verify how they function." I don't know who started that rumor.I gently smiled and drove away trying to look like a boss unsuccessfully.

Amber, I think that is terrible that someone would start that rumor about you. If you think about it, it is an outright lie. Someone made that up because you never told anyone that you had cancer. What is wrong with people? I don't know what rumors circulate about me..but the only people here who know that I am married are my husband and my mother. I would say it is safe to say, by questions and comments along the way, that people say I am a lazy bum who does not work.

That I was going to quit work...by walking off the job....When my second book came out there were rumors all over that I was flush enough to quit work....the bosses were totally parinoid that I was going to just walk off the job. Someone had told them that was what I was going to do! Go figure!

people like gossip so much. i heard a lot of rumors about myself,and at first i was worried cuz it was not true enough,but at present,i don't care what they said behind me.i just act in my way. Bless you!

I am not sure if anyone talks about me or not...i would think if anyone would do it would be my mother in law...she is always good for telling people things you would rather not tell everybody...I am afraid to tell her anything because our whole street & the rest of her family will know! how terrible for people to think you have cancer! this is why i hate rumours in general - it is never good to talk about people!

I'm not sure, but I think that it's going around school that I'm dating one of my best friends. I guess because I talk to him and he walks me home sometimes, that means we're dating! I mean, gee, he HAS a girlfriend. So maybe that means they think I'm a homewrecker! Haha! Rumors are so silly.

I dont recall any rumours being spread about me. Unless I count the bs my step children biological mother tells them. Probably as I am 50, & dont mix much with my neighbours, rumours are less likely to be an issue. I can understand the innocent rumour that went around about you having cancer. People must have noticed that you had health problems, and human nature being what it is, people have to imagine the worse. At least you put it straight.

everyday i hear rumors about myself, its really annoying to me.

For me it's always the same one, but I only hear it when I call my mother. She swears, and has for years, that I am just a figment of her imagination as she would never have raised one such as I. And yes, that's exactly how she talks, so she could be right! lol

Hm. I think the last rumour was that I was going out with the boyfriend of a friend of mine. Totally funny and I didn't really get upset over it. Unlike yours, I wouldn't want the people who really care about me think like that and be worried over nothing.
