I always make time to play with my daughter. So much of the day gets taken up with running errands, doing chores, cooking and cleaning. Whilst I do involve my daughter in these tasks, I always make sure we take time to do what she wants to do, whether its playing on the swings and the slide, or building things with duplo. I think its important to spend that time with your child, to help strength your bond with them.
Besides, children learn a lot through playing and experiencing things. As long as she's happy, then I'm happy too!

My children are all grown. But I do have a grandson that is 3 years old and another that is 8 mos. My 3 years wants me to play cars with him all the time. The problem is he likes to crash the cars together, in turn smashing my fingers. We do play ball and no one gets hurt...But his favorite is cars. My poor fingers
