Man kills 17 month old daughter over X-Box

That is the most incredible thing I have ever heard! These days though it seems like people are decencitzed to such things and that is very sad. Should the man be executed in public? I that is a little extreme. I think this whole situation is not just from this one situation but a problem we have raising our own children who end up not getting what want and killing others over nonsense.

Please excuse me because I'm p!ssed and will more than likely offend someone. It was a FCKING ACCIDENT!! WTF?? I feel so bad if my 2 yr old falls and hits his head from his own tantrum because I'm trying to get him to leave the t.v alone!! Why get so fcking upset over a dam GAME console?? It may have been expensive, but the life of your child is priceless and is much more valuable because there is nothing that will replace them!! How can he be not only STUPID but so mad over such a petty thing! OMG, I hope he rots!! I hope that some other a$$ in prison makes him their b!tch and repeatedly rapes him until he begs for mercy and then they repeatedly hit him over the head!! That poor baby girl. It makes me cry to think of that because of not only what I'm going through, but to put myself in that situation. My 2 year old gets into everything...he actually knows not only how to turn the DVD player on, but he knows when to press "play". And I can see his little face, which was more than likely her little face, when I walk up to have to spank his little hand or butt and his little mouth just drops open in shock and tries to protect his little hand or butt (he gets into A LOT of stuff, LoL). I can just see this from her as well, but the outcome is so much more severe and different, and EXTREMELY uncalled for!! I don't understand why!! I understand getting mad, but why!! All she learned was that "daddy" got mad and hurt her. WTF WAS THE POINT!! OMG, I wish I could get my hands on him. He deserves so much more than a few fcking decades in prison.

That is so horrible...I can't believe such people even exist..He should have life sentence without no parole..no bail..He is a bad man and should not be sent outside of prison. He should be punished so bad for it.

Maybe the man is insane. THEY Sshould check very well, how it's to give birth to a child and kill it over frivilous issue. TO me he should have been sentenced to life in prison but for his wife and the other children. he really deserve a more severe punishment.

Sigh... Sad, very sad. Sickening too. May the daughter rest in peace. Its terrible, but events like this keep happening. Somewhere along the line people have lost it. People are stabbing and shooting each other over inanimate objects (shoes, clothes, CDs, games). Is this the best humanity can do?

It breaks my heart when I read about things like this. There is nothing worse than harming an innocent child. She may have been behaving badly to break the Xbox but little children do not understand about value of expensive items. She did not deserve to die, but he should get maximum jail sentence and suffer all that time. It is well known that people who commit crimes of this sort are not liked by other prisoners.

oh my goodnes!!!killing your own daughter cause of an accident like that?!!! how silly! you are right that he should be punished to a life at least not only 20 years of imprisonment. that is not enough....

Wait? He didn't AT LEAST get life?!?!? What a crock! He should never even have the chance to be back on public streets! What a terrible person! I don't know how anyone could ever kill a child, in ANY situation, but especially over a STUPID game console!!!

That poor baby. Children, toddlers, even adults are going to break things. Accidents happen. It shouldn't mean you die. I agree with you. Being able to have a child, doesn't make you a parent.I have heard it rumored in prison they don't care too much for crimes against children. Someone may carry out a different sentence while he is there.

Only crazy person would dare to kill his own daughter. What is X-box when compare to your own daughter? Doesn't make sense at all. You would do anything to save your family members even willing to pay for the ransom money but the man willing to kill his own daughter for a X-box. I cannot imagine what sort of a guy he is.

So many cases of child abuse recently... These idiots... I wish I could see them in public... I would punch him in the face. Also 22 years for a crime like this should be like 35 - 45 years... not 22... As for punishment of him physically, they get what they deserve when they get into prison. I have read that people who commit acts on infants and children get picked on, raped and beaten up when they enterprison, simply because other criminals in their are disguted by them, especially people convicted of child rape, etc... they get it good lol. Can you say Karma?

I will admit there is no set rule book on being a good parent, but the screening/ test thing would be extremely hard to initiate, or enforce, Because, each parent will admit that though the basic rules apply to all; each person has their own way of raising the children. If we were to have something like the screening, it would be up to the ones administering the screening to decide on their own interpretation of the way they see how the right way to raise a child is. Who is to say that their way is the right way? It would be a good idea, but their would be no way to accurately do the screening.
