In this modern world we usually take fast food as our meal in order to catch up with time. So, our body do not get enough nutrients to balance our body system. Therefore, do you take food supplement in order to get proper nutrients?
As for me I am taking Surbex-Zinc as well as Vitamin c 500mg as my supplement. Do you think taking fresh fruits and vegetable daily are sufficient and better compare to food supplement? What do you think?

Yes I do take food supplements to keep myself away from anomalies. I am not fond of them but am actually compelled. I take them because I stay away from home and don't get ample nutrition and I have a poor liver since birth. So to get extra nutrition, I need supplements. I am taking "Revital" from "Ranbaxy". It has no side effects as it is not a medicine but a plant extract (from Ginseng herb). But my father prescribed t=it to me. He is a doctor. I tell this just to suggest that its good to take a professional's advice in such things. :-)

Hi Amitaliasb2. As for you, you have a reason for taking the food supplement because of your weak liver. Anyway, how does it help your liver? Lucky you that your dad is a doctor and able to precribe good supplement for you. All the best to you. Rganks for your response.

Food supplements do not help the liver in any way. But with a poor liver we cannot absorb enough nutrition from the food. So extra nutrition is needed so as to compensate the loss. That's the reason I mentioned the liver matter... Take care. :-)

I stopped eating fast food a while back because I am trying to eat better and lose weight. But I honestly don't take supplements but I should. Even though I am eating better I am sure I am lacking something.

Hello mbs730. With the present food nowadays, especially the fast food and the preserve food, I don't think it meet to our body requirement. Therefore we still need food supplement to keep us healthy. Thanks for the comment.

Hi Lateesha. Perhaps at your agee you don't really need to take food supplement as yet. Based from ready, the best time for a woman to take food supplement is when she reach the age of 30. Now again that depend on your body system and your daily routine. I think daily vitamins should be fine with you at your age but it is good for you to check with your private doctor and get second opinion. Thanks for sharing.
