I have trouble in sleep. I can not fall asleep until I go to bed 2 or 3 hours later. I am troubled as I have to get up early the next day--I am a student.
Is there anyone who have the same trouble with me? Can anyone give me same suggestions?
Thanks a lot!

This happens to me alot.
Some of the things you should do for several hours before bedtime are avoid caffeine, avoid smoking, avoid television, don't exercise within 3 hours of bedtime.
You should have a bedtime ritual like brush teeth, read a book, etc. make your bedroom a dark cozy sleep only zone.
If you toss and turn once in bed, get out of bed and read awhile until you are sleepy but don't watch t.v. or go on the computer.
Hope these suggestions help!

but there is other slotion you can play something that take all of your enrgy so you will fall asleep right away here is an idea you can buy staff so you can play gem at home before you go to sleep or play swadi or you can run around your home or in your street then come back and take a hot bath you will fall asleep when you touch your bed

i am not the type who sleeps right away the moment my back touches a bed. i guess it is not a problem. you just need to relax and get your mind off anything. could only be that you are thinking too much of something and it is keeping you awake most of the time.
Try to relax more when you go to sleep and make your sleeping position more comfortable.
Hope that helps you a bit.

i have suffered from sleep apnea and if the sleep pattern is too bad for me I take a Ambiem CR//this will give me a entire night sleep..and there is no morning side effects..also if I stress too much during the day..i take a xanax and this hepls settlem me down...
i am a nurse and get a lot of stress sometimes..i have hypertension and my blood pressure is under control with medecine but even with this life sometimes buts to much stress on a persons body..diet and exercise are the best medecine..i swim everyday and use the sauna and whirlpool too...steam rooms..and this will relax me without the use of chemicals..but sometimes we don't have these available to us and need someting to get us through the night..when we are out of twon and in a strange environment..but I am 63 and cannot afford to go to long without proper sleep..as i get to grouchy when sleep deprived..not very productive the next days.
Good luck..there is natural cures too..ask a good herbalist to help you ..in health food stores everywhere..XXXXXXCCCCCXZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I also suffer the same predicament and what I do is stay up until I'm really really sleepy and tired, so that when I go to bed, I would fall asleep sooner. You can also try drinking warm milk an hour before going to bed. It helped me fall asleep sooner, too.

If the medcine gives you no help, I think maybe you can try to some food. Do you know some kinds vegetable and fruit can help you to fall asleep. You can search these informations through the internet, maybe it will give you some exciting answers.

I had exactly the same problem when I was a student. It was mostly because I was stressed and I had an unknown problem with my health. I don't think I can give you any advice, though, because I couldn't figure out how to deal with it, either. My problem changed after my health began to fail and I find that I can fall asleep easy, but I wake up in the middle of the night.
I found a tea by Celestial Seasonings called "Tension Tamer" and it puts me to sleep fast almost every time, but I have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

There are two reason for this is that either you sleeps during day time or you are not exerting yourself. But generally students are so active that they get exerted and sleeps as soon as they go to bed.Sometimes you may be taking more tensions of studies and thus do not fall asleep very soon .you must check it.

I used to have the same problem, but as i responded to another discussion earlier, i got a week's supply of sleeping pils from the doctor, then she said to develop a routine. Another advice she gave was not to lay in bed waiting to fall asleep, if you can't sleep then get up and do something. Go to bed at a certain time and wake up at a certain time, no big meals after nine. Worked for me in the end.
