posting in forums is like chatting

who thinks that posting in forums is like chatting? i think so. i post or start a thread, somebody replies, i reply, then somebody joins in, etc. and so on.
then it could be the other way around, someone starts it, i reply, and so on. i think that forums are very interesting to become a member of. like mylot.
but i think that in forums, it is a better thing because we get paid right? i mean, we can spend days and hours on end chatting on mirc, and not get paid. why not spend time and effort on forums, right?

Yes I agree and the best part is if someone says something I don't like I can just leave withput a word of explanation dont have to give any excuses.

Its somewhat similar to chatting but its not live.while chatting we get answers in an instant.but on mylot we get answers in a few days.Ya its right we spend hours chatting on different messengers but we don't get paid.Mylot is a cool place to hang out and post in forums.

I have never used Messenger or been in a chat room but I do belong to a lot of forums and I think MyLot is more like chatting than most forums because here you get comments on your responses. Also the discussions in MyLot cover many topics of interest, not just general topics, so you can discuss and share knowlege with other people who have the same interests.

i think so too. cause when you post, though epople may reply to you after a while, there are still conversations that is built. and people share their ideas, when idea is shared, i think it is like chatting, a message is passed from one person to the other...:)

Of course,you can have some very short posts here due to getting the exact right answer You're looking for,and other times you want the conversation to go on and on because it's so rewarding ;)

Well... in a way you are right. Posting in forums is like chatting. The difference is, there is a specific topic. not like in chatting that anything goes under the sun. And also in forums you can join them anytime you like.
And you are right in forums like this, you will be paid.
Honestly, I dont chat. I spend my day in front of the computer to earn and learn and not to chat. Though there are some few friends.

Kinda like it...but unlike real chat, it take time for people to reply sometimes. But I like forums much better than in the chat room because a lot of times, I get confused with who am I going to reply.

Yeah, i do agree with you, and thats why i quit chatting on yahoo and gmail...lol if we get paid here for just chating then why not join this, why we waste our time on chating...i like mylot very much...

You are right. Mylot is a good site where we could have chatting and share our opinions, besides, we gould gain certain pay for being on the forum.
So I am as good as on mylot after I found it. How interesting is it!

you can say that, but chatting is more faster than forum. Like Yahoo Messenger or Skype. One person type the question, you will receive the answer right after that. Here sometimes you don't receive any replies at all :) That's the difference. So I still like chat on yahoo with my friends and my family event no pay.
