Yes, it is true. there are real vampires that exist today in the real world. the once "mythological" vampire has now become a reality. there are thousands of us, both pure of blood and half-breeds. i am here to clear up misconceptions a normal human may have about us. Myth #1: all vampires are bloodthirsty demons created only to destroy. truth: we are simple creatures who have learned to tame our bloodlust, and we coexist with humans quite peacefully nowadays. myth #2: once bitten by a vampire, you will turn into one as well. truth: one cannot be "converted" into a vampire by way of a simple bite, the only way that could happen is if you were bitten by a pureblood, one who has not just "accepted" the gift, but was born with it. and if you were to try to attain the gift, you would have to drink the blood of a vampire to do so. myth #3: all vampires turn to dust once a ray of natural light touches them truth: at one time, that may have been true. but today, we have many breeds of our culture, the daywalkers: ones who have developed an immunity to the wrath of the sun, and the classical nightwalkers: those who cannot stand to see the light of day. although it is true that nightwalkers hate the light, they dont "turn to dust" once they see it: they just complain that the light is bright and to close the curtains. myth #4: the only way to kill a vampire is ton drive a stake through its heart. truth: the act of driving a stake is only a film fantasy. we can die just like a human can, with bullets and knives. if you hit a human with a stake in the heart, will he not die? if you burn a human at the stake, will he not burn? the only advantage we have over the human race, is that we are more resilient than that of an average human. and if you beleive, we also have some control over some other things.
