Yuwie...

Ok, I've heard all the hype about Yuwie and I've seen this website promoted every where I look. So, I decided last night to join up. I joined for two reasons: 1.) to make money. 2.) Because I heard it was similar to myspace (I can't access myspace because it shuts my internet off) as far as making friends. I've never been one to be able to get referrals and I've been reading that referrals are the only real way to make anything at all there. So, I guess I will stick to making friends. What do you guys think about Yuwie? Has anyone been paid there? Do you make friends there?

I have been on Yuwie for about four and a half months now. Yes you can make really great friends there, yes people have been paid there. I have never made any great money there. To do that you must get referrals. I do it for the friendships and to promote other things I am involved in that do make me money. I like it for the interests. I write poetry and many people enjoy reading it. So, you will have to decide for yourself, if you like it or not. I just figure that what I would be doing on My Space, at least I am being paid something to do on Yuwie and I personally enjoy the friends I have made. Good luck to you.

I was thinking it's better to use Yuwie for making friends more than trying to earn from it. I love making friends and that is one of the reasons I joined. Thanks for your response!

I've been a member of Yuwie since Sept, I believe. I've got over 1000 friends and I was very active there, spending hours and hours a day leaving comments, etc, for the first 5 months. I have a downline of 50, in levels 1-4. I love Yuwie for the social networking, but honestly, the pay sucks. I've made only $2-3 a month when I was very active, and now I'm making almost nothing. Yes, you need a lot of referrals and they need to be very active in order to make it work. I rarely do anything there since finding myLot (last month). I like this venue much better and I get more out of it, even without the money (although the money is MUCH better here. I made payout last month, my first month, in 12-13 days).

That's great that you made payout here in your first month! Congrats on that! I will definately agree that mylot is better! I earn more here than from any other site.

Like some people who answered you have said, to make money on Yuwie you have to have referrals and a lot of them, but you can make friends which is very good. I have heard that if you are active you receive free referrals from Yuwie but I don't know if this is true.

I've heard that as well, but don't think I will get any anytime soon as I just signed up. I will just see about making friends and see where that leads. Thanks!

well, as far as my space is concerned, I visit that site once in a month or so. Because I never found it interesting at all. but I heard about yuwie from one of my friend and thought I should check it out. but the site is so heavy it made my net so slow that a page on orkut took more then 3 minutes at the speed of 119 Kbps. so I decided to stick to mylot because am getting so many useful info on various topics I never knew about.

Yuwie I personally do have a account but to be honest I dont like it at all.Reason is you need to refere ppls and visite other ppls pages vote for them and thats pretty much it.They will add you as friend and they only doing it because they want just money not your friendship. MySpace is ok but you get spamed so much and some of the messages have worms! MyYearbook very grate to make friends but you wont earn anything. Facebook a good alternative to make friends aswell money in some applications,as of games lotteries ect.On FB you can in example add a application called Cash Point wich will have a survey of the day and other surveys that let you earn money. It has a game that you can play every day a few times and to be honest I made more money there then in yuwie in months! You can play a free lottery that has a draw every 5min called $uper Bucks Lotto a friend of mine won a few days ago ower $1300.00 and in The Lotto a other friend won around $60.00 two nights ago. So my choise to make money is on Facebook,my personal opinion.. You can allways add me or contact me if you want to knowe more. huggs

I have not made a lot on yuwie I have some referrals but they are inactive in my opinion so I haven't made anything there, I am in another program since November and have made more there since November than I have in Yuwie and I have been there since August. If your interested there is a banner for the other program on my profile page

Yuwie is cool. I haven't made much money there. To tell you the truth I make more on mylot with less referrlas. and less effort. But I can say that Yuwie has been a cool place, where I have met some very cool people, and it's a fun place to hang out. And it does make me a couple extra bucks a month. I wish I had a big downline.. so I could at least make 100 dollar s month on there. Now that would be great. But honestly I don't go after refferals anymore.. because most of them are inactive.

If you want to make money from Yuwie, I am afraid it's too heard to reach it. I joined it in September last year and I worked hard on it. However, I only earned USD0.01 there and I am so discouraged. And therefore I gave it up one month later.

I can understand. It's easy to get discouraged when you aren't getting what you thought you would.

Let's put it this way, I have been there since the end of August and any referral I get is not active and I only made .24...If you want to see money, stick with mylot, but if you want to have a social network like myspace that sooner or later, (more like later), you will get paid for it..I will PM you my URL if you want to add me, but don't be looking for a check anytime soon..

I've been hearing that. I added you as a friend there. I will just use it as a social networking site for now and see what happens from there. Thanks!

i've been in yuwie since november 05, 2007 and i found that yuwie is a great site but if your purpose is to earn money you must make many referrals to do money. i earn 2 dollars there but i am not concentrating there because i felt mylot is the best sites among all, i am one spending here but i earn 10 dollars now, in yuwie 4 months earning only 2 dollars...i concern there is to make friends and to introduce my other programs.

Introducing other programs is a good idea. I will have to keep that in mind. You are right, so far I have found that Mylot is the best site.

I only have a few referrals on there and I really don't make much. I am still going to try to get more referrals, but I do have fun there and enjoy spending time on the site. If I were only there for making money, I think I'd have given up by now, as I have been on there for about four months and only made a few dollars.

I came for the money, stayed for the friends. What everybody here has been saying is true. You need referrals, active ones, to make real money on Yuwie. I don't know anybody who is making more than a dollar or so a month on their own page views. I am finally getting my first payout after March and it's just enough to have lunch at Taco Bell (after joining in Mid-September). But I'm just now building a downline. However I have seen people who are making some decent money at it! But basically I have found people I really like who post some really interesting stuff. It's not discussions like here on MyLot, just different kinds of blogs and pictures, about politics, poems, stories, art work, religion, etc. If you make an effort to get to know people personally instead of just playing ping pong with picture comments, it can be a lot of fun!

hi. yuwie is like myspace because you can make friends. i was on yuwie for a short time. i didn't make any money. it was a rip off. i had a hard time trying to get referals. i didn't know very many people to give a referals to. i was paid 10 cents for the one month i was on there. the payout was 25 dollars. As for making friends, i found that the majority of the people on yuwie are cold and rude. i am no longer on yuwie.

I'm not sure about the pay as I have just joined a few days ago. I think Mylot is a better site to make money from. I believe I am going to mostly use Yuwie as a way to make friends and meet new people.

yuwie is a great site. iv been on there for about 3 months. alot of friends is good, but its true. if you want to do good on the site and have steady money coming in in the future, your going to have to get referrals. you can use craigslist to put your banner out there and get people to join that way. i have a myyearbook and thats were most if my referrals come from, so if you have one use it. if you don't have have, i recommend you get one. if your looking for quick, easy money there are loads of other sites out there. if you want the urls for those let me know. GOOD LUCK!

I have a myyearbook. I didn't think about using it to get referrals. I will have to see about that. Thank you! And if you would like to send me those URLs, please feel free to do so!
