what is the simpler viewpoint?

I think that is funny, but skewed. The chart as drawn specifically to make a point. From a slightly different perspective any of the end points on the theism side of the chart could be drawn a a straight line as well, accepting their own authority without taking the other referents as variations. Still, very cute. ;-)
