i have bought some things on internet. some clothes and some skin care products. i have to say all the clothes disappointed me deeply. it's not about the size, but the quality. they're not worth the price.
but the skin care products are really good. some people may worry about the true or not promblem. perhaps i am lucky, i got the true brand products. what's more, they really make my skim better now. :D
so i'll continue to buy the skin care products on internet, and try some other things. cuz the prices of products on internet is cheaper than in the shops. but i'll never buy any clothes again. the experience is bad enough.
so what about you? have you ever bought something on internet? if not, would you like to have a try?

If I can't find an item in the store or if it's at a great price I will buy items online. I never thought of buying skin care products online. That's a good idea because I can never find my brand of skin care products in certain stores, when I travel.

I don't like to buy clothes on the internet... I like to feel them and try them on. Part of the thrill is looking around for ages and trying on the same two tops 500 times to work out which one looks slightly better ;)
I like getting free skin care products from the internet, and I have gotten some great makeup and other things, but I don't buy much.
I recently bought (from paperchase) a journal, some stickers and a pencilcase. However, I love paperchase in real life, so I know the quality is good, whereas I find that with clothes the photos are not in enough detail so that you can see how well made they are and if the material is good quality.
In real life that is important to me, otherwise clothes will not last, so it is also important online! I don't want to waste my money! =P

yes, we like to buy stuff on the internet coz like you said it is cheaper and sometimes you can only find it on the net.
we dont usually buy things without checking the site first, some site have a very bad rating so we avoid using those. i like to buy books over the internet as well coz id rather browse it online than walk around the bookstore.
we bought some appliances, digital items, hobby stuff, medicine, beauty products and other things on the net and so far we are happy about it.
when we are in china we often use the net to buy things coz it is cheaper and for the fact that some product that we found on the store in china is questionable (we dont know if that is the real one or the counterfeit one so we are cautious about it.
also some products is very hard to find out there and it's not nice to always ask a family member or a friend to always send you packages so we tried to do it on our own and that helps us a lot when we are there.
about the clothes issue, i only tried buying in victoria's secret and that's it, i like most of it but there is 2 that the size dont fit me and it is hard to send it back so i just have to fix it, oh well!

hi canteen,
ni hao ma?
no we're no longer in china. we live there for almost 5yrs. both business, education and pleasure.
been in shanghai, hefei, beijing and hongkong.
i didnt go to a formal school to learn mandarin but just a private one (4weeks) but didnt learn much coz i already know the stuff they teach me.
my sister studied in beijing for 2yrs, she is very good in reading, writing and speaking and we're really proud of her.
she lives in finland now and studying there.
we do enjoy our time in china. so much place to explore. though we cant avoid to have some bad experiences too, but i guess it is common to every place you go specially if you're the foreigner...
anyway, nice to hear from you!
btw, is it common for chinese to buy things on the internet?
i see so many websites that caters for chinese buyers, you guys also have your own ebay (beside the china ebay) and it is really interesting to look at.
i used to have this link that are all written in chinese character so i have to ask my sister to read it for me i remember that the price over the internet is cheaper than the one you can buy on the shop.
takecare!

I am a shop-a-holic on the net. I love everything about it. I have found really great deals on a ton of clothing. I think you might be disappointed in some of the clothing that you have bought online through some of the sites. When I am ordering clothing online I look it over completely and I only shop from well known websites. For instances I bought my fiance a jersey a few years agos and it still looks great. I bought it directly from NFL though. I know that with the multi million dollar company that NFL holds they would want to have higher quality of cloths out there. What types of places where you buying your clothing from?

I buy all of my clothes on the internet. I order books all of the time on the internet and sometimes dvd's. I've bought Avon on the internet before too. I have bought brushes and painting supplies before on the interntet. I also buy my beads and supplies for making rosaries on the internet. I enjoy getting my packages in the mail. LOL

Till now I have spend more than 200 dollar on the online shopping, I bought a lot of makeup online, for it is much cheaper than in the real shop.
But online shopping cannot see the real things until you get it, so sometimes I will find that things are not good as I think. While change it is not simple.
So I think if you want to buy somethuing very important to you, go to the shop to buy it is much better.

yup,the credibility is really a worrying problem. i even wanted to stop buying things online when i received the low quality clothes.now i'm happy i didn't give up on it.
maybe you can try some little things not worth much at the begainning. after you have some experience of buying online, you can try the bigger one. hope you can enjoy and have fun during online shopping.

I do buy things from internet from reliable shopping counters. Canteen you should have brought clothes from LEE,nike, adidas why? because they have virtual shopping tours which will really help you. Cosmetics yes we can bring them but check for reliable and genuine sources.

No, never.
Online, you can never find out the quality of the things, therefre, it is useless to buy those things. One should never buy something without first verifying the quality.

I buy all kinds of stuff on the internet. I recently ordered the tiara that I'm going to wear on my wedding day. OK I'm already married to my husband, but we still haen't had the religious cerimony. My husband and I went to a bridal store to look for a tiara, and we did not find one I liked, so we came home, went on eBay, and found one within a few minutes.

I will only buy on the internet if I can get free shipping, and I have only bought books and CD's. I bought what was supposed to be a "game" once and it turned out just to be one journal book. That was a little disappointing but explains why I got it so cheap. Spent more on the shipping than on the item itself. I won't buy clothes online and I don't think I would buy skin care products online either unless it is from a reliable, well-known company.

I have bought a number of things on internet. Among them are skin care product, books, small presents etc. When i buy skin care products, i would very carefully choose the right ones. I never buy clothes on internet coz it is hard to know whether it fits u or not. When i buy presents for friends, i prefer buy them on internet coz the seller would have someone send them to the person u want. Ha, it is really convenient.

I think that probably 95% of the stuff that I buy is from the internet. I can find most things so much cheaper than I could in a regular store. It also depends if I need the item really soon or not. I have bought make up, clothes, electronics, household items, and a lot of other stuff. I think that most of the time there is a lot better variety on the internet than in a store.

I have bought things on the internet before but I usually don't.
For one, I would rather get out and go to the store just for the activity.
2. I don't see the point in paying shipping on stuff that I could get while I am out.
Also clothes I never know what size to get esp for my children so I want them to try things on first.
I am sure if I found a really good deal or it was something that I couldn't just go pick up then I would at least think about buying something online.

I tried looking for things to buy on the internet. But my location is a hindrance to that. See, I'm located in the Philippines and most of the stuff online is offered in the states and I should pay like $5-10 to have it shipped here. That's a lot and sometimes more than what you'll buy. But I haven't really tried the ones that are offered in our country. They have shipping charges too but what's frustrating is to go through the hassle of sending your payments by depositing it in a bank. And there's are others that you'll just meet up. Well, they haven't earned my trust yet for me to go through the hassle.
