as time goes by, we experience more and have more understanding of life. sometimes, we feel we were foolish in the past. and we realize some of our opnions in the past are not right. like most teenagers, i used to pay much attention on fashion. what's in and what's out. i did things which i thought others would thought i was cool. i even offended my parents and teachers just to show my rebellion. at one time,i hated my parents because of their divorce. but now i get to understand them. they're not easy, and they had their own suffering at that time. i have to say i love you, dad and mom. we just never stop growing up, no matter how old we are. do you find you are changing when look back on the past? can you share your new understanding of life with me? thanks. :)

be cheated? so sorry to hear that. i can't believe people easily. maybe that's because i was born in a broken family, and i am afraid to get hurt. even for friends, it takes a long time for me to really accept them and regard them as my true friend. i don't mean to do, just my instinctive action. my ex-bf always said he felt i didn't believe him. i feel bad everytime he said that. i want to change but don't know how. hope my words can help you somewhat. that guy is really not worth your friendship. but most people in the world are kind and good.

i agree with you. there is no state of standing still, just marching ahead or falling back. i like one of Avril's song words, " keep holding, jut stay strong". we all are changing towards better personality and future.

Well, I find as you grow older, what you once thought was important in your life no longer matters as much, and nothing is always the same. Usually the people you are around will even change, and you find yourself usually not so dependant on others and how they think and feel about you as well. For me, clothes now are usually the least of my worries. I know I may not always have tastes like someone else, and that is OK. With being in my 40s now, what I like in the way of clothing may not be what I would have wanted even 5-10 yrs. ago as needs change as well. So you will find out with each passing day, it is OK to think on your own, have needs different from others, and everything will be OK.

I do look back often and realizde that I have changed very much. Even in the relationship I'm in right now, I can look back to when we first got together and see how much I have changed. I've learned that change is a good thing, and that you cannot change someone, it comes from within themselves and it happens when they want it to happen. Cheers to you.

Haha, yes, I have definitely changed a lot, especially since high school. Back then it was all about who had what, who drove what, or who dated who. It didn't matter the price, if everyone was wearing it, I wanted to wear it as well! Once I moved away for college, and then out on my own, I have realized that money isn't easy to come by, and that you don't always get what you want. My relationships have improved as well. I have some ex-boyfriends that I look back on now and say, What was I thinking?? I am not as naive as I used to be, nor do I put up with as much crap.

When I was young,I liked the fashion very much, for example, cat and mouse(USA),machine cat(japan).I was happy and ignorent at that time. But we must know it doesn't last too long.We must learn knowledge in the school. We come into a half of society.Bothers always go with us from that time. Now,I have worked.Although it's not a ploblem that I feed myself,I must save money for buying house and feeding my parents. So I find happy is less and bother is increasing as we grow up.By the way,I want to say that a man has more hardship than a woman in the life.
