I love apple pie especially when the apples are still warm and the cinnamon has seeped through them, ummm
I like lemon pie but I find it is too tangy and I just can't eat it.
I don't think I ever had a key lime pie,
so my question is
what is your favourite pie of the three mentioned,
If you don't like any of them but like a different kind of pie what is it,
and finally what is the difference in taste between leom and key lime pie, does anyone know?

Out of those three I must say my favorite would have to be apple pie. Lemon pie isnt my taste at all. I like lemonade, dont get me wrong, but lemon pie isnt something I really care for. Now Key Lime pie on the other hand...I've never had. At least if I have had it, I dont remember. So I've probably never had it otherwise I'd remember...I think. I'd tell you what the difference between the two are if I knew, but I really honestly dont. Sorry I cant help you there. Have you ever had black rasberry pie? Sorry, but that is my FAVORITE out of all that I can think of. Pumkin pie might come in 2nd place lol.

I like apple pie, I like apple crisp better. So my favourite pie is Lemon Meringue Pie. In fact, one company has come out with pie flavoured pudding cups (banana cream, lemon meringue) and the lemon meringue pie pudding cup is fantastic! Gotta have it in the house at all times (though I don't usually eat it because I'm not supposed to for health reasons - but DH loves them).

I like them all! I love pie, cake, pastry, cookies.I love it all......
I am sometimes in the mood for one pie over another.....in the summer, i love the refreshing taste of lemon meringue or key lime, but I always love a good apple pie! Cheesecake Factory does a key lime cheesecake......absolutely divine!!!!!

Oh wow, I like all three. I can't really choose! I really like key lime pie because of the green color and it reminds me of my childhood. Lemon Meringue because of it's sweet taste. And apple pie is a classic that is always found in my refrigerator (store bought of course!).

Oh Lemon without a doubt. There's a cafe in Perry, Oklahoma that has the most scrumptious lemon pie It called the Kumback Cafe. Because people always come back for more of the pie

Toughie..I've tried Key Lime Pie,but I'd rate it Below Lemon Meringue..All time fave would be apple pie, preferably warm with vanilla custard ,alternatively ice cream..other contenders would be Banoffee Pie and Lemon tart...what the heck-if it's Pie,I'll try it-I like Mince pies at Christmastime too!

You've never heard of or tried Banoffee?!! Pin back your tastebuds!
Take a Shortcrust pastry case...line the case with sliced banana...then caramelise a can of condensed milk..spread it over the bananas...allow to set in the fridge..and enjoy!
Just made my 200 posts here! woohoo!

apple pie is great warm with cinnamon on top, and vanilla ice cream on the side. geez just talking about it makes me hungry. u should try it sometime.
i like all three of these pies. they all have their taste which makes them different. i like that. the one pie i will eat is key lime pie. its not tangy, like lemon meringue pie.
i eat less of that it gives me heart burn. i like lemon meringue pie. i just dont eat it a lot for that reason.
i think both the lemon and key lime pies are very rich in the taste
this is the best i can do to explain about the taste difference.
lemon is tangy, and the lime is mild compared.

Hello Winter! They are all wonderful, but I'll stick with Key Lime, (only if real key limes are used) Another variation I adore is a Key Lime Rum Cake. This is also a wonderful heavenly treat. Should you ever want to try one, and are not in the South Florida area, you can order online through www.blondegiraffe.com. They supposedly make one of the best.

I don't really like pie period because I don't like the actual crust. Usually I just eat the filling part. :)
If I had to pick from the ones you listed I would say Apple but I really like Pumpkin too!

You know what, I've only had my taste of key lime pie last night and it was really good! I haven't tried it from other bakers or restaurants yet. I don't think it's a very popular dessert here in the Philippines, but it like it nonetheless. Anyway, I can't choose between apple, lemon, or key lime. I love cakes a lot but now I think my taste is veering towards pies. Many cakes have chiffon layers which I find boring and a waste of stomach space.

I think I'd pick key lime pie because it's kinda like cheesecake. I've only had it once. I think I'll out it on my list of things I'd like to have again.

Apple Pie is great...especially fresh from the oven. I also love Pumpkin with coolwhip, Key Lime, Coconut Cream, and alot of others. I've never really compared Key Lime and Lemon but I like both.

I would say that it depends mostly on the time of year for me. I like an apple pie in the cooler months especially autumn and winter... the aroma the color, the texture are all things I associate with autumn.
I especially like the apple pie with a dutch crumble topping in place of crust.
in the summer I would prefer a key lime pie, I have never made one myself, though.
I like the flavor of lime more than lemon and meringue is just not my thing.
My husband's favorite pie is the lemon meringue.

I love peanut cream pie! My family has always made it for Christmas along with the pumpkin pie. I am not a fan of lemon or key lime pie I do like apple and peach pie if they are fresh and still warm I don't like them cold though.

Its a toss up between lemon meringue, key lime pie and sweet potato pie. (My personal favorite) Especially around thanksgiving and christmas when my grandmother makes about 3 of them. Just give me a slice of sweet potato pie and whip cream and Im "in my glory" quoting my grandmother. She also makes the first 2 mentioned pies and those are good 2. I dont know but Im getting a cavity just thinking about it. 'reaches for glass of milk' lol

This one is easy for me to answer. Lemon Meringue Pie is my favorite. I love the light tangy taste and I can eat a slice of this anytime. I remember when I was pregnant with my first child, I craved Lemon pie. My sister was also pregnant. One day I was at her house and it was lunch time. We didn't know what we wanted but we knew we wanted some lemon meringue pie. So we walked to the store and got the stuff to make one, came home, made the pie and cut it in half. We each ate a half lemon pie for lunch. I can't believe we did that. I'd probably go into a coma if I did something like that now. lol But it satisfied our craving for the rest of our pregnancy. I still love it but never eat but one slice and don't do that very often these days.
