So I have been ill for a few months. I'm finally back on the quilting wagon. I finished a table runner yesterday morning, then made a large sample block which I turned into a baby quilt top. Now I am ready to quilt it. I have an order for a wedding quilt that needs to be done in April and another order to recover some patio furniture cushions.
What are you working on? Anything new?

How lovely, and you seem to be getting on very well with your quilting again. I would love to see the Wedding Quilt when it is finished. Could you take a photo for us, please?
At present, I'm not getting much of my craft work done at all, but it's my Son's birthday on Good Friday, and I'm making him a birthday cake. I baked the cake today, tomorrow I will marzipan it and on Thursday, I will ice and decorate it, ready to take to him on Friday. I also have been asked to take a Banoffi Pie with me, which I make from my own recipe, so I shall be busy... to busy for crafting projects. lol.
Brightest Blessings.

I will definitely post a pic of the wedding quilt. It should be quite different, since the bride and groom want black and blue. LOL
Your cake sounds yummy!!! I'm a tad bit jealous. Wait, no I'm not, I'm on a diet!

Thank you... whatever colour, I would love to see a picture of the finished Wedding Quilt.
The cake will be yummy, and as it's Easter Weekend, I'm also making a carrot cake to take with me, which I will decorate with little marzipan bunnies and carrots. Still on a diet?

I'm about to get back into quilting again. I will be buying a new sewing machine in the next couple of weeks (thank you tax refund). In the meantime, I am hand sewing yo-yos.
My first project will be a table runner for my sister. The pattern is Springtime on Plum Creek. It's based on the Little House Books. My sister received "On the Bank of Plum Creek" as a birthday present one year from her 1st grade teacher. They shared a birthday and exchanged gifts for years. This is the first Little House boook I read. So, I thought it would be an appropriate pattern to make.
I want to get back into quilting because it relaxs me. I have the bar exam coming up in July, so need all the relaxing activities I can get!!!

I just got the interfacing and will be making those fabric bowls. Should be a quick and easy project to get me started up again. I agree, would really like to see the quilt when done. whit

Well, your quilts are beautiful and I bet it feels good to be at it again. I have never made a quilt, but I am saving blue fabrics and denims to make a patchwork quilt for our guest bed some day. It will be a simple pattern, that is for sure.
My craft is rubber stamping and with moving recently my stuff is either still in boxes or still at my moms house from living there while we built our new house (she stamps too so we had a little stamping area in her basement with both of our stuff.) I will be very happy to get everything organized here so I can get creative again!
