Do you...
1.) Eat it and don't care about health issues.
2.) Remove it because it's unhealthy.. but hoped you could eat it because it tastes good.
3.) Remove it because you really don't like the taste of chicken skin.
4.) Eat it but feels guilty because it's unhealthy.
I just alternate between 1 and 4. But most of the time, I eat it and just don't care! I love chicken skin! How about you? If you love chicken skin but you remove it because it's unhealthy, what is your motivation?

I don't really care for the skin so I normally peel it off and if I am with my boyfriend then I give it to him because it is his favorite.

I remove the chicken skin almost all of the time because it's not good for my health. But, when I go out, I like to eat the skin because most restaurants don't remove it before adding all the seasoning. Once in a while, it's no big deal. But, I eat a lot of chicken and when I cook it at home, I just season it without the skin and it's fine.

i think i don't think i could eat chicken without the skin. I am not yet a parent so I probably still don't care so much aobout it.. but maybe when I have a kid, I'll remove the skin! ahhaaha! Too bad for them.. (and me too!) but that's healthy living! Thanks for sharing!

I eat it because we were raised not to waste anything that is food.
We were raised on a farm and we always ate the skin on a chicken and we ate the skin on the potato etc etc..
This is my notion but I don't eat the skin on a banana or the skin on a watermelon

Haha I understand what you mean. I was also raised not to waste food. I have some friends who don't eat the skin of the grapes so they let their maids peel off the grape skin before eating it! It's so wasteful! Plus, the vitamins are in the skin so they lost the point of eating the fruit. Haha!

I mostly buy boneless skinless chicken, so it is not an issue. MOST of the time. The only time I really eat chicken skin is if I am eating fried chicken. I do not eat fried chicken, but once every month or two. I love to eat the skin off of the fried chicken and since it is so rare that I eat it I go for option 4.

I just eat it - I don't care! I think they're the best bit, especially if it's really crispy!

out of the choices you give I
would combine number #2 and #3
I really do not care for the taste of chicken skin- but might eat it on occassion just because - but the health factor keeps me from doing that....
however,
there is yet another reason that I do not eat the skin...
It is far easier to skin the chicken than it is to pluck it - and a lot less mess too!
didn't think of that one did you?

Hi there... When we're having chicken for dinner, we usually try to get most of the skin off, and when we do, it usually goes in a little pot of water until its boiled cooked... Then we give it to our dog, along with a bit of bread and her dog luncheon...

I love the chicken skin and all from KFC or any of the good crispy takeout chicken places. I also like the skin on chicken wings if they've been fried first. I feel guilty and also don't care because I don't do it all that often. At home, I only make chicken without the skin or pull it off.

Oooh, I love chicken skin! When fried, like KFC's chicken, I usually save it for last! To me, eating chicken without it's skin is like not eating chicken at all! A chicken dish wouldn't be complete with it's skin. That's how much I love to eat chicken skin.
...makes me hungry just thinking about it. :(

i eat it!!! no second thoughts.. :) but i only eat fried chicken skin though and make sure i always have meat with it.. not just pure skin.. i don't like the taste of just pure skin coz sometimes its too salty and tasty..
my motivation? i don't eat it everyday.. it's once in a while.. i like variations.. i don't want to eat same food everyday.. i think what's important is you have eat other nutritious food like vegetables and fruits.. because if you'll just eat chicken skin always then good luck to your health.. as what they always say too much of something is bad.. :)

I do not care how unhealthy it is, it is the best bit of the chicken and I look forward to that more than the actual meat! In my first pregnancy I craved chicken skin, and would buy a whole chicken, cook it and then just eat the skin and I would give all of the meat to my dog! She must have thought she was in heaven.

In our local market, you can purchase chicken skin seperately. In addition you can buy crisp fried chicken skin from street vendors. Crisp fried chicken skin is best eaten when dipped in spicy vinegar. Though , It can be very tasty, try to watch out for you cholesterol level as well. To prepare for fried chicken skin. Wash chicken skin thoroughly, dredge in flour, salt, pepper mixture and deep fry till golden. To maintain crispiness, cover in a tight canister.
