According to merriam-webster, a habit is a behavior pattern acquired by frequent repetition or physiologic exposure that shows itself in regularity or increased facility of performance.
It can however be changed with patience and persistence.
Does your partner have a bad habit you wished you could change?

My husband doesn't have any usual vices that most men usually have like smoking or drinking. He does however have this one habit of being in front of his laptop most of the time. What makes it irritating for me is there would be times when we'd be having dinner and his laptop is on the dining table as well and he'd click several times on it during our meal. ARGH! This is one habit of his I really wish I could change in him.

My husband doesn't have any habits that I would change if I could. That sounds to good to be true, but everything about him makes him the person I love. I may not love all the little quirks but when added with all his other features I think it balances out in the end.
I would love to hear his answer to this question. Haha. It probably would not be the same. ;)

ii]It's me who keep on returning his tools to its place to make it easier for hime whenever he needs it. Oh men![/i]
—hehe... that happens to me, too. Sometimes when I tend to forget where I put his stuff, he gets irritated when it was supposed to be him who should be putting them away in the first place.

Like you I've been blessed with a husband that has no vices at all, he doesn't drink nor smoke, but just like any other humans, he is far from being perfect. he has habits that annoy me but not to the point of hating him :) One that I am reaaly annoyed is he seems doesn't know where to put his dirty clothes..and I always pick it up for him. :)

I think the worst habit I wish I could change about my partner is his drinking. Its not that its really annoying but it's bad for his health and his wallet. It makes his breath smell bad and its not so yummy to kiss him. But Overall I like all the little annoying things he does b/c thats part of who he is and why I love him. I knew who and what he was when we first started seeing each other.

He never throws away trash. When he spends the night at my house or dorm, he leaves all of his empty drink containers wherever. That kills me. I try and keep things clean, and he just messes things up again. When we move in together, e's breaking that habit very fast. I will make him.

My partner has a couple of annoying habits/things she does. Firstly is her hair, when she is brushing her hair in the morning in front of the mirror and a big clump comes out and it goes on the floor she will not pick it up. she will leave it untill she hoovers later on. (I HATE TOUCHING PEOPLES HAIR SO THIS IS A BIG ISSUE FOR ME)....... secondly .. well this one is rather personal and im sure people dont want details so ill spare you..... thirdly... allways on the phone yapping away to her mom (IM LIKE HELLO, OUR PHONE BILL)..... petty little things really but still annoying.

Woops! I have a lot of falling hair, too and I don't really pick every strand up (only the obvious ones... hehe) and leave the rest for sweeping later on. Hmm... glad you brought that up... made me think if it's a habit that irritates my husband as well.
Are local calls in your country metered? I mean, is it a per second charge even for local calls?

my partner is the greatest man in the world, and I wouldn't change in for the world, but the biggest bad habit I would want him to change, is to be ready on time when we are going out and we have to be at a place at a certain time, I just hate being late.

That's something new! Usually, it;s us women who men complain about for taking so much time in getting ready to go out. :)

Well, I guess when you've been with a person for so long already, you get to be so comfortable with one another that you're not ashamed to be yourself anymore. :)

One thing I could change. Hmm There isn't to much I would change about him but I think the leaving the laundry on our bedroom floor. He leaves it there every night and every morning after he's off to work I have to pick it up. I don't understand why it's so hard to put the clothes in the hamper.
Most everything else is great. He has even learned how to change a diaper and cook some simple meals for when I am busy, away, or sick.

Oh my gosh! Thanks for reminding me about that one. My husband also leaves his laundry in our bedroom and most often forgets to bring it down to the hamper. I hate it when he brings it down just when I'm done with the washing! Grrr...
...but, it's a minor thing. I still stick by my answer of his being too glued to his laptop as the one habit of his that I'd like to change.
Thanks for sharing miller1978!
